W.A.Mozart의 <Violin sonata K.301>과 C. Franck의 <Violin sonata A major>에 대한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 필자의 대학원 졸업 연주회에서 연주된 작품들 중에서 W.A. Mozart (1756- 1791)의 <Violin Sonata K.301>과 C. Franck(1822 - 1890)의 <Violin Sonata A major)를 연구한 것으로, 각 작품의 배경과 음악적 특징을 살펴보고 작품 구조의 분석을 통하여 작곡자가 의도하는 것을 올바로 이해하고, 이를 연주하는데 도움을 주기 위한 것을 목적으로 한다. W.A. Mozart의 <Violin Sonata K.301)은 W.A. Mozart의 violin sonata들을 시기별로 나누어 보았을 때 중기(1778 - 1782)에 속하는 곡으로 1778년 초경에 당시 음악의 중심지였던 Mannheim에서 작곡되었다. 이 곡목은 G major의 조성을 가지고 있으며 2악장으로 구성되어 있는데 3악장은 소나타 형식으로 되어있고 2악장은 론도풍의 3부형식으로 되어있다. C. Franck의 <Violin Sonata A major>는 C. Franck의 작품들을 시기별로 분류해 보았을 때 제 3기(1875년 이후)에 속하는 곡으로 1886년 가을에 작곡되었다. 이 곡목은 4악장으로 구성되어 있으며 이 시기의 C. Franck의 대부분 작품들에서와 마찬가지로 그의 대표적 특징인 반음계적 화성과 자유로운 전조, 순환기법의 체계적인 적용을 보여준다. 이 작품은 C. Franck의 대표작임은 물론 후기 낭만파의 대표적인 실내 악곡으로 꼽히고 있다.;The purpose of this thesis is to guide the performance into a deeper musical understanding by researching each composition's background, musical distinctive feature, and knowledge of the composer's intention throughout the structual analysis of <Violin Sonata K.301> of W.A. Mozart(1756 - 1791) and <Violin Sonata A major> of C. Franck(1822 - 1890) which were played at the graduation recital. W.A. Mozart's violin sonatas are periodically divided into three stages. <Violin Sonata K.301> was composed during his mid-stage(1756 - 1781) in early part of year 1778 at Mannheim. This composition has two movements and tonality of G major. The first movement is in sonata form, On the contrary, the second movement is in ternary of rondo type. C. Franck's <Violin Sonata A major> was composed in the fall of 1886 which falls into the third stage(after 1875) of his musical career. This composition consists of four movements. Like most of his works, this composition concentrates on chromatic harmony, free - styled modulation and organized cyclic form, which are his typical and representative feature. This composition of C . Franck is the most significant masterpiece and is chosen to be one of the most representative chamber music of the late romanticism.
