R. Schumann의 Faschingsschwank aus Wien Op.26과 M. Ravel의 Sonatina에 關한 硏究

Abstract

이 논문은 본인의 대학원 졸업연주회에서 연주된 작품 중에서 R. Schumann의 <Faschingsschwank aus Wien, Op.26>과 M. Ravel의 <Sonatina>를 연구한 것이다. 이 연구는 작품에 대한 분석을 통하여 각 작품에 대한 특징과 구조를 살펴봄으로써 연주에 대한 이해를 돕는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 두 작곡가의 피아노 작품에 대하여 각각 작품의 개관과 작품에 대한 분석으로 연구 범위를 분류하고 이를 통해 양 작곡가의 음악적 특징을 고찰하였다. Schumann은 Chopin, Liszt, Brahms와 함께 낭만주의 시대를 대표하는 작곡가로서 피아노를 위한 많은 서정적인 작품을 남겼으며, 피아노 작품을 주로 '성격적 소품'의 형태로 작곡하였다. <Faschingsschwank aus Wien, Op.26>은 론도형식-3부형식-론도형식-3부형식-소나타형식의 5악장으로 이루어져 있다. 전 악장에 걸쳐 잦은 전조와 반복, 동형진행이 많이 나타나며 붓점 리듬, 당김음, 교차 리듬 등의 다양한 리듬형을 구사하였다. Ravel은 Debussy와 함께 20세기 프랑스 음악을 대표하는 작곡가로서 <Sonatina>에서 고전적인 형식 속에 인상주의 기법을 적절히 결합하였다. 이 곡은 3악장 구조로서 각 악장은 순환적인 주제에 의해서 통일성을 이루고 있다. 선율의 반복진행과 명확한 리듬이 특징이며 또한 병행화음과 선법의 사용이 많이 나타난다.;This thesis attempts to study R Schumann's <Faschingsschwank aus Wien Op.26> and M. Ravel's <Sonatina> among the works performed for my graduation recital. And this study intends to research the characteristics and structures of the works to provide sufficient guidelines for appreciation. The scope of the study includes the outlines and the analysis of the both composers' piano works and the analytical characterization of their musical dispositions. Representing the period of romanticism together with many other composers like Chopin, Liszt, and Brahms, R. Schumann left a lot of lyrical pieces, and composed piano works usually in the form of 'character piece'. <Fasching- sschwank aus Wien Op.26> consists of five sequential movements such as Rondo, Ternary, Rondo, Ternary, and Sonata. Throughout the whole movements, we can find out the frequent use of modulation, repetition and sequence technique. Also many kinds of rhythm, such as dotted rhythm, syncopation and cross rhythm, are employed. M. Ravel who was a contemporary with Debussy was a representative of French musicians in the 20th century. In the work <Sonatina>, he combined impressionism and classical form properly. This work is composed of three movements, and each of the movements establishes unity by means of cyclic themes. It is characterized by ,the repetition of melody and definite rhythm, and also employs paralleling chord and mode.
