농업 공동체에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 사회실천적 맥락에서 제기되는 대안적 사회모델을 모색하고자 하는 공동체 논의의 입장에서, 사례를 통하여 국내공동체를 생활사적으로 소개하고 공동체 사회로서의 한계와 의의를 평가하려는 것이었다. 본 논문의 내용을 요약하면 다음과 같다. Ⅱ장에서는 비판적 입장에서 대두된 근대사회이론을 공동체론에서 재접근하였고, 공동체의 실천적 운동의 종류를 기존 사회 비판에 근거를 두어 분류하였다. 그리고 그를 통하여 공동체의 원리를 평등과 통합이라는 이념적 범주로 추려내고 그 실천적 접근 방법을 평등의 경우 경제적 측면에서의 공동소유ㆍ공동경영 ㆍ공동분배 그리고 성차별의 측면에서 가사노동과 자녀양육의 사회화를 제시하였다. 통합의 측면은 개인과 개인간의 게마인샤프트적 관계의 개발 문제와 개인과 집단간의 조화( "전체의 성공=나의 성공"의 일체감 형성 )의 문제를 언급하였다. Ⅲ장에서는 사례로서 풀무원의 일반적 배경과 경제ㆍ사회관계 및 대외관계를 서술하였다. Ⅳ장에서는 Ⅱ장에서 소개된 기본 원리에 근거하여, 공동체로서 풀무원이 지닌 한계를 살펴 보았고, 기존 사회와 관련하여 그 의의를 평가 하였다. Ⅴ장 결론에서는 앞의 내용을 요약하면서, 발전을 위해 극복되어져야 할 점을 공동체 자체의 문제와 일반사회로 나누어 서술하였다. 종합해 보면, 본 사례에서 공동소유ㆍ공동소비는 비교적 평등하게 이루어지고 있으나, 공동경영에 있어서 총회는 토의의 기능만 있는데 반해 이사회는 모든 중요결정권을 가지고 있고, 이는 이사회 구성원( 5명 )중 2명만이 공동체 내에 살고 있는 점 그리고 이사직이 반영속적이라는 점과 함께 지도력의 집중현상을 초래하고 있다. 한편 금욕주의적 분위기에서 소비성 억제는 경영에서의 소외감과 더불어 전체의 성장에 대한 개인적인 관심을 저조시키는 결과를 초래하고 있었다. 한편 가사노동이나 자녀양육에 나타난 가부장적 이데올로기는 강하게 남아 있어 성평등에는 아직 한계가 있었고, 상품 생산의 증가는 공동결속에 대한 관심을 저조시키고 있었다. 그러나 의의로서, 대가족제도의 성격을 띰으로써 축소적 인간관계를 주는 핵가족의 한계를 극복하는 면이 있고, 농약오염현상과 소농경영체제의 문제와 관련하여 유기농업과 협업농의 가능성을 시사하고 있으며, 공동의 자본을 형성함으로써, 자본주의 사회 내에서의 공동체의존립 가능성을 시사하고 있다. 끝으로 발전과 운동의 확산을 위한 문제로, 공동체 내에서는 경영의 민주화를 통해 성원들의 경영 참여의 욕구에 수렴하도록 할 것과, 금욕주의적 문화의 완화를 통해 생활의 향상이 요구되었고, 일반사회에서는 공동체에 대한 신비주의적 시각 개선의 문제, 정책적 지원의 기대등이 요구되었다.;There are the problems of sex and economic inequality, and of underdevelopment of rural community in our society, Thus, this study aims at exploring and evaluating the nature of Korean community movement through a case study of Pulmuwon community with the intention of finding an alternative community. In chapter Ⅱ, I characterized the principles of community movement as equality and solidarity, through the study of critical modern social theory and modern community movement. In chapter Ⅲ, Pulmuwon community is described in general background, economic and social relationship, and its relationship with the society. In chapter Ⅳ, in accordance to the principle of community movement (equality and solidarity), Pulmuwon community is evaluated. And its relationship with the society is discussed,, In sum, Pulmuwon community has tried to achieve the principle of equality in common property and common distrubution. But in cooperative management, most of the members cannot participate fullyunder the strong leadership. And in an atmosphere of stoicism, consumption is limited. Thus, the members are not very concerned about the development of Pulmuwon community. In spite of that, Pulmuwon community has it significance. As non-consanguinitious large family, it solves the defect of nuclear family which limits personal relationship. And considering over-use of agricultural chemicals and considering limitation of small familiy farming, it has shown the possibility of organic agriculture and cooperative farming as well as the possibility of commune based on accumulation of common capital in capitalistic society. To develop and extend the community movement, there are some problems yet to be solved: Democratization of management; Changing the view of general society; Political supporting.
