Abstract
Indomethacin과 gelatin-gum arabic의 比의 변화, HPC의 첨가 및 formalization time을 변화시켜 complex coacervation法에 의해 調製한 IMC-microcapsule의 용출 pattern에 관하여 연구 검토하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. Microcapsule 中의 藥物 含量은 matrix의 量의 증가로 감소되었고, microcapsule 로부터의 용출도 지연되었다. 또 HPC 첨가시에는 첨가하지 않았을 때보다 藥物 含量이 적었고, drug-to-matrix의 比가 1 : 4인 경우에는 microcapsule 로부터의 藥物의 용출 속도가 가장 지연되었다. Drug-to-matrix의 比가 1 : 2인때, formalization time이 길수록 용출 속도는 지연되었고 24시간 동안 formalize 하였을 때 용출 속도가 가장 지연되었다.;Microcapsules of Indomethacin were prepared by the complex coacervation technique using gelatin and gum arabic as the wall forming material. The effects of varying drug-to-matrix ratios and formalization time, and HPC added on the release of drug from microcapsules were studied. The results were as follows: The drug content in the microcapsules decreased by increasing the amount of wall forming material and the release of drug from microcapsules was retarded. In the case of adding HPC, the drug content was lower than that in the microcapsules without HPC and the microcapsules with 1:4 drug-to-matrix ratio had the slowest release. The release rate of the drug from microcapsules with 1:2 drug-to-matrix ratio was delayed according to the increase of formalization time and the microcapsules formalized for 24hr. showed the most retardation.
