Krzysztof penderecki의 Anaklasis에 관한 분석 연구

Abstract

The course of history has always seen changes culminating, Erom the attempts at over coming the past and trying the unknown. This is especially true in the 20th century, a shocking new era in which we have witnessed man's flight in space and the nuclear bomb. The change is also manifest in the world of music. With the disappearance of tonality in the late 19th century originating with Wagner's "Tristan and Isolde", new currents and various style sprang out in the early 20th century, and in the present second half of the century electronic music, cacophony and aleatory music have been introduced and developed. Krzysztof Penderecki (1933-) is a leading composer of the second half of our century. His contribution to modern music through his musical experiments is immense. This study observes the tone construction of the strings and percussions in Anaklasis, his major work. First of all , the study looks into the currents and aspects of the musical world after World War Ⅱ and analyses Penderecki's technical style through his major works. The following results are to be found: Penderecki has transformed Henry Cowell's tone-cluster (for the piano) into microtones on the strings, thus effecting electronic tone qualities on traditional instruments and cacophonic results: Through various special techniques he has been able to express many tone variations, and indefinite technique is used in the experiments on aleatory music: Finally, Webern's pointillism is developed further and nixed with the flat style, characteristic of the composer's spirit in adhering, at the same time, to both the traditional and new standards of beauty.;모든 역사의 흐름은 항상 새로운 시도와 함께 과거로부터 탈피, 변천되어 왔는데 특히 20세기에는 결코 전 시대까지 상상할 수 없었던 인간의 우주로의 진출과 핵폭탄의 투하등의 엄청난 사건으로 인하여 인류의 커다란 충격을 받고 있다. 이러한 큰 변화는 20세기 음악에서도 마찬가지 현상이었는데 19세기 말, Wilhelm Richard Wagner(1813∼1883)의 「Tristan and Isolde」를 기점으로 조성 음악의 기능이 붕괴됨에 따라 20세기 상반기 음악은 각양각색의 경향과 양적으로 변모되었고 특히 후반에 와서는 전자음악, 소음주의, 우연성 음악까지도 도입되어 발전되고 있다. Krzysztof Penderecki는 20세기 후반에 활동하고 있는 작곡가의 한 사람으로 특히 새로운 음향의 시도로 현대 음악에 크게 기여하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 그의 대표적인 작품, 「Anaklasis」를 통해서 현악기와 타악기의 음조직에 대한 그의 기법적 특징을 관찰하였다. 우선 1945년 이후로 현대 음악의 경향을 통해서 음악적 양상을 통찰하였으며 이러한 현대 음악의 배경하에서 Penderecki의 주요 작품에 나타난 그의 창작 기법의 특정을 알아보았다. 그 후 작품을 분석 연구하였는데 그 결과 Penderecki는 1920년대 Henry Cowell (1897~1965)이 도입한 피아노의 tone-cluster를 현악기군에 미분음으로 형성, 다양하게 사용함으로써 전통 악기의 전자음악적 음향의 산출과 아울러 소음 효과를 꾀하고 있었다. 또한 빈번한 특수주법의 사용은 다양한 음색변화를 나타냈으며 음고와 리듬에서 표현되고 있는 불확정성 기법은 우연성음악을 시도하는 것이었다. 특히 Anton von Webern의 점묘적 기법은 평면적 기법과 잘 조화를 이루었는데 이러한 전체적인 특성은 전통과 새로움의 미를 함께 추구하려는 작곡가의 정신을 잘 나타내고 있다.
