dc.description.abstract본 논문은 Ludwig van Beethoven의 Violin Sonata No.5 op.24를 분석, 고찰 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. In the music history, Ludwig van Beethoven followed Franz Joseph Haydn and wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to culminate the classical music of vienna and became a pioneer in romantic music. Beethoven's works composed of stringed instruments and piano include Piano Trio and String Quartet. In his works, Beethoven presented a new world based on a classical music style. This thesis in aimed to analyze Violin Sonata No.5 op.24 of Ludwig van Beethoven . Beethoven composed 10 Violin Sonatas throughout his life. Sonata No.5 is very renowned along with Kreutzer Sonata (Sonata No.9), which is a masterpiece created in the middle period of Beethoven's life. No.9 was composed in 1812, a transitional time between the middle and the last period and vas nicknamed Spring Sonata by later generations since in gives a brighter and warmer feeling than other works do. Unlike previous ones, this sonata was enlarged to comprise four movements, into which a Scherzo movement was inserted. Violin Sonata No.5 focuses on its first and fourth movements. Moreover, No.5 repeatedly uses the first motive of the first theme of its first chapter in its second and fourth chapters, maintaining consistency throughout the melody, This Sonata is characterized by what may be called a cyclic form approach. As for harmony techniques, the melody uses a modulation and upper and lover major and minor third relationship, demonstrating its romanticist tendency, In particular, the frequent use of a swift contrast between strong and weak and use of sf fully represents the freedom and intense impression, which are frequently attested in Beethoven's works created in the middle period of his musical life.-
