여성의 역량강화와 목회상담

Abstract

목회상담은 상담자가 내담자로 하여금 자신의 문제를 통해 하나님을 경험할 수 있도록 도와주는 통로로 상담 과정에서 내담자가 하나님의 말씀 안에서 문제를 해석하고 의미를 부여할 수 있도록 인도해 준다. 또한 상담 과정에서 내담자가 하나님의 사랑과 돌보심과 함께하심을 경험하며 위로와 용기와 희망을 가지고 자신의 삶으로 돌아갈 수 있도록 상담자는 내담자를 돕는다. 목회상담자는 이런 목적을 위해 성서와 신학을 기반으로 하여 내담자의 문제를 조망하는데, 여성을 상담할 때 성서와 신학의 여성에 대한 부정적인 시각은 하나님의 진리에 비추어 여성에 대한 올바른 상담을 할 수 없게 한다. 이는 성서와 신학이 남성에 의해, 남성경험에 의해, 남성중심으로 형성되어 왔기 때문이다. 성서는 여성을 열등하고 부정적인 존재로 규정하며, 성서에 대한 해석인 신학도 여성을 남성보다 못한 존재로 정의하며, 심리학에서도 여성을 거세된 남성으로 인식해 왔다. 이러한 여성 정체성이 목회상담의 장에서 적용될 때 여성 내담자에게 여성성만을 강조하게 됨으로써 상담자와 공감을 형성하지 못하고 상담의 역효과만을 경험하게 되었다. 이는 남성의 시각에서 성서를 해석하고 신학을 형성해 온 까닭이며, 남성중심의 가부장제 사회에서의 여성들의 억압된 역사를 짐작케 한다. 대부분의 여성 내담자들의 문제들이 가부장제로 인한 것임을 감지한 여성들은 새롭게 성서와 신학을 재해석하고 재형성함으로써 여성의 올바른 성서적, 신학적, 심리학적 이해를 도우며, 목회상담의 장에서 올바른 상담을 할 수 있도록 공헌한다. 어머니 같으신 하나님과 여성도 구원하신 예수 그리스도 안에서 새롭게 규명된 여성은 성서적으로 남성과 차별없이 동등한 존재로서, 신학적으로 ‘관계적 자아이면서 통전적 자아’로서, 심리학적으로 ‘책임과 돌봄의 존재이면서 자율적인 존재’로서 여러 가지 관계로부터 힘을 필요로 하는 존재이다. 이에 본 논문은 여성에 의한, 여성의 경험에 의한, 여성중심의 성서적, 신학적, 심리학적 여성이해를 기반으로 하는 여성주의 상담을 제시함으로써 새로운 여성 정체성을 확립하고, 올바른 정체성을 삶 속에서 유지해 나가며 가부장제라는 무거운 무게로부터 일어설 수 있도록 역량을 강화시켜 줄 수 있는 목회상담을 제시했다.;Pastoral counseling is a kind of the way to meet God through the process of counseling. Counselors should assist in understanding counselees' problems within God and to try to find the direction which the counselee should take in the future. During the counseling process the counselors should help the counselee to go through God's love and caring and being with them. The final goal is for the person to return to their own life with the courage, hope and comfort. Pastoral counselors should assist counslee to interpret and give beneficial meaning and practical solutions of their problems within the basis of the bible and theology. However view of the bible against women prevents the counselors from doing the right counseling within the truth of God. The Bible was written by men and theology has been made by men, therefore man's experiences are focused on males isolating the entire foundation of pastoral counseling to a single gender. The Bible defines a woman as an inferior and negative being. And the theology which is the interpretation of the Bible regards the woman as an inferior being to man. The traditional Psychology also defines a woman as a castrated man. Such a negative view of women can make the counseling session lack sympathy and bring about a contrary effect. We think the problems are caused from the male point of view and it makes us recall the history of the suppressed woman in the patriarchal society. Most of the counselees have the problems coming from the patriarchal society. And the women who understand the problems are from the patriarchal society can now contribute a more appropriate and insightful method of counseling while they try to interpret the Bible newly and to help the woman's biblical, theological and psychological understanding. The woman who is newly defined in God and Jesus Christ, who is like a mother and a saved woman, is the relative self in theologically and the "I" of responsibility, taking care and autonomy in psychologically, as well as appropriate who needs the power from the various relations and generate better understanding of gender roles. Therefore this paper is to suggest a necessity of better biblical, theological and psychological understanding of women by women, and promote better experiences for individuals in need of help. Then we can ensure the new being of woman under this understanding. I presented feminine pastoral counseling to strengthen women's ability to overcome the pressure of the male dominant patriarchy.
