Abstract

본 연구는 이성천 대금 창작곡 “독주곡 66번 <큰, 나무 이야기-둘>”을 분석 연구하여, 새로운 국악이 시대적 요구를 어떠한 방식으로 수용해가고 있는지 고찰하여 보는 것이 목적이다. 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이 곡은 작곡자가 제시한 표제의 시상에 따라 4개의 악장으로 구분되어 있으며 박자와 템포의 변화, 주제선율의 출현에 따라 1악장 : A-B-B'-Coda, 2악장 : C-D-D', 3악장: E-F-G-H , 4악장: I-연결악구-J-K-Coda, 로 구분된다. 둘째, 음계에 있어 전체적으로 5음음계의 평조 선법을 사용하여 전통음악적인 색채를 추구하였고, 범동양적인 음계, 6음 음계, 7음 음계, 메나리 토리를 사용함으로써 음 진행의 단조로움을 피하고 한층 더 나아가 새롭고 독특한 음악적 색채감을 추구하였다. 셋째, 동기와 동기의 발전과정에 있어 서양음악적인 어법을 사용하여 이도, 신장, 수축, 확대, 축소, 반복, 생략, 환음, 역행, 결합, 전위 등의 방법을 통해 선율을 전개해 나갔으며, 징의 장단 반주와 가곡의 형식을 모방함과 같이 전통음악적 요소의 채택을 통해 전통과 현대간의 조화를 꾀하였다. 넷째, 대금의 연주기법에 있어 전통음악의 특징적인 시김새를 구현하였으며, 플룻의 연주기법을 모방하거나, 글리산도, 포르타멘토 주법 등의 서양음악의 연주기법을 활용함으로써 대금의 새로운 활용방안을 모색하였다. 이성천 작곡의 <큰- 나무 이야기, 둘>은 전통적인 요소를 바탕으로 하는 전통음악의 계승의 취지와 함께 서구음악어법의 도입을 통한 현대적인 새로운 음악어법을 개척하여 ‘계승되고 발전되는 전통음악’으로서의 이상을 추구하는 의도가 엿보이는 작품이다.;I hereby analyzed the "Dae-gum solo piece NO.66 <Big tree story, two>" - the song by Lee Sung Chun as a Dae-gum player under the necessity of searching for traditional attribute which is inherited from the past by studying created pieces and completing new Korean traditional music thru creation and of considering how the new KTM(korean traditional music)accept the needs of the times. The results of analyzing the Dae-gum creation song <Big- tree story, two> by Lee Sung Chun are condensed as following. Firstly, this song is consisted of 4 chapters following the poetical image of the title that the composer showed. Chapter 1 : A - B - B' - Coda, Chapter 2 : C - D - D', Chapter 3: E - F - G - H , Chapter 4: I - Connecting phrase - J - K - Coda, they are classified as variation of time and tempo and appearance of main melody. Secondly, it used 5-note-scale Pyungjo mode in scale in perspective to pursue the traditional musical color, also used oriental scales, 6-note-scale, 7-note-scale, Menari Tori, to avoid monotony of the note process and all the more pursued new and unique musical coloring. Thirdly, it is used Western musical language in motive and motive developing process so that it is developed melodies through methods like renovation, extension, contraction, magnification, reduction, repetition, omission, substitution of notes, retrogression, combination, and transposition, etc. It is also attempted harmony between tradition and modern by choosing the traditional musical factor as copying rhythm accompaniment of Zing and the lied form. Fourthly, it is embodied “SI-GYM-SAE” characteristic of the traditional music in Dae-gum playing techniques. It is groped for new practical use of Dae-gum by applying western music playing techniques like Glissando, Fortamento, etc. and by copying the flute techniques. <Big- tree story, two> by Lee Sung Chun shows an intention to pursue the ideal as “inheriting and developing traditional music” not only with purpose of traditional musical succession based on traditional factors but also with pioneering new modern musical language through induction of western musical language.
