Edvard Grieg의 Violin Sonata in C minor No.3 Op.45에 대한 연구 및 분석

Abstract

Edvard Grieg는 민족적 낭만주의 시대의 중요한 작곡가 중의 한 사람으로서 낭만주의 음악을 바탕으로 노르웨이의 민속음악과 국민성을 음악적으로 잘 승화시켜 노르웨이를 비롯한 스칸디나비아반도를 대표하는 민족주의 작곡가로 알려져 있다. 그의 작품들에는 서정가곡이나 피아노 소품에서부터 협주곡이나 교향곡까지도 모국의 민족적 정서가 스며들어 독특한 매력을 풍긴다. Edvard Grieg의 민족적 정서가 뚜렷하게 드러나는 작품 Violin Sonata in C minor No.3 op.45는 그가 이미 작곡가로서 성공한 후에 작곡된 곡으로 실내악다운 요소와 협주곡의 효과를 느끼게 하는 요소가 교차되어 있으며, 노르웨이 민속적 선율과 북유럽적인 선율이 빈번히 사용된다. 본 논문은 19세기 전반의 곡을 작곡할 당시의 배경을 알아보고, 작품을 연구·분석하여 이 곡을 더 잘 이해할 수 있도록 하는데 목적을 두었다.;Edvard Grieg who is called 'Chopin of North area' is well known as one of important composers in the period of nationalistic romanticism. He made a success to harmonize Norwegian folk musics with national spirits on the basis of musics of romanticism. Almost of all his music is his works from arias, short pieces of piano music to concertos and symphonies are attractive because they contain national spirits of his nation. The purpose of this study is to examine Grieg's national spirits in his music by analyzing his representative music, 「Violin Sonata in C minor No.3, Op.45」. 「E. Grieg Violin Sonata in C minor No.3 Op.45 」 is composed of three movements. The first movement has a free sonata style with three themes and coda. The second movement has a three fragments with allegretto and allegro molto. The third movement has a new sonata style that linked with short coda and two themes. It uses traditional romantic elements but irregular clauses also show impressionistic features. This study is aimed at understanding 「Edvard Grieg's Violin Sonata in C minor No.3 Op.45」 better as well as the nationalistic music of Norway in the late 19th century.
