남성 캐주얼 재킷 원형 개발에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 25세~34세 남성을 대상으로 맞음새와 활동성이 적합한 캐주얼 재킷 원형을 개발하여 다른 디자인으로 변형할 수 있도록 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 성인 남성 173명을 대상으로 캐주얼 재킷 착용 실태를 조사하여 착용빈도와 착용시 불편한 점 등을 설문조사 하였고, 캐주얼 재킷을 생산하고 있는 9업체의 10개 브랜드를 대상으로 패턴제작 실태를 파악하였다. 실무에 가까운 원형을 제시하고자 조사한 업체 중 소비자의 인지도가 높고 생산율과 판매실적이 좋은 두 업체 패턴과 유럽식 패턴방법인 에스모드식 패턴을 선정하여 총 세 개의 캐주얼 재킷 원형을 비교, 분석하였다. 착의평가를 통해 패턴을 수정, 보완하여 맞음새와 동작 적합성을 높일 수 있는 패턴을 개발하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 소비자 조사 결과 캐주얼 재킷의 의복 구매도와 착용빈도는 높으나 외관과 동작적합성 측면에서 불만족한 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 팔을 올리거나 단추를 모두 채운 상태에서 움직임이 불편하다고 하였다. 캐주얼 재킷을 착용하는 이유는 부담 없이 편하게 입기 위함이므로 착용감 향상은 매우 중요하다. 둘째, 업체조사 결과 캐주얼 재킷은 클래식 재킷과 차이가 있으며, 가슴둘레와 진동둘레가 변하지 않으면서 다양하게 변형시킬 수 있는 캐주얼 재킷원형의 필요하였다. 또한, 업체에서는 자신의 브랜드 이미지에 맞는 실루엣을 만들기 위해 각기 다른 여유량으로 패턴을 제작하므로 맞음새가 좋으면서 활동성을 향상시킬 수 있는 적당한 여유량에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 셋째, 실험원형들을 길이항목, 너비항목, 가슴너비와 허리너비의 편차값, 어깨항목, 소매항목 등으로 분석한 결과 S사는 I형, K사는 H형, 에스모드식은 Y자형의 실루엣으로 각 패턴마다 고유의 특성이 있었다. 실험원형을 머슬린으로 제작하였고 97년 국민표준체위조사보고서를 기준에 적합한 11명의 피험자를 대상으로 착의실험을 하였다. 외관검사와 동작평가 모두 S사의 실험의류가 제일 좋은 점수를 받았다. SPSS 11.0 for windows로 Oneway ANOVA와 Duncan test를 실시하여 3개 실험의류에 대한 평균의 차를 유의수준 5% 수준에서 비교하였다. 넷째, 착의실험과 패턴분석 결과, 팔을 올리는 동작과 단추를 모두 채웠을 때 답답한 현상은 적절한 품의 여유량, 가슴너비량과 허리너비량의 편차값, 허리선의 위치, 어깨각도, 진동깊이선의 위치, 소매산높이, 소매통의 여유 등의 항목과 관련이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나, S사의 실험의류의 경우 전체 품의 여유, 허리둘레선의 위치, 허리둘레의 여유, 재킷길이, 위팔둘레의 여유, 라펠의 꺽임점 위치, 포켓의 크기, 뒤 견갑골 주변 군주름 항목에서 낮은 점수를 받아 패턴 수정을 하였다. 다섯째, 패턴을 수정하여 연구원형을 개발하였다. 캐주얼 재킷 원형 제도법을 제시하였고 캐주얼 재킷용 소재로 연구의류를 제작하여 7명의 피험자를 대상으로 착의평가를 하였다. T-test 결과 5% 수준에서 연구의류와 실험의류가 유의한 차이를 나타냈으며 모든 항목에서 실험의류보다 연구의류가 높은 점수를 받아 개선되었을 알 수 있었다. 여섯째, 연구원형은 기본 스타일의 3버튼 재킷원형이므로 연구원형의 활용도를 확인하고자 절개가 들어간 2버튼의 재킷으로 변형하였다. 연구원형 제도법을 제시하였으며 재킷용 소재로 제작하여 7명의 피험자를 대상으로 착의실험을 하였고 외관검사와 동작평가에서 모두 우수한 점수를 받았다.;The purpose of the study is to develop the basic pattern of casual jacket for men aged between 25 and 34. Compared to the tailored jackets, casual jackets are designed much more diverse form depending on the target customer, price range and moreover fashion trend. Therefore in order to reduce the cost and time of developing new style, pattern draft from the basic pattern is better approach rather than develop each style from the measurements every time. For men's casual jacket pattern draft, the basic pattern of fit and comfort was developed through following research procedures:- 1. 173 men were surveyed about their habit of buying and wearing of casual jackets. They buy and wear casual jackets quite often. Yet they are not too satisfied with appearance and wearing comfort. Comfort should be improved for the development of casual jacket, because its compatibility with tailor jacket is wearing comfort. 2. MDs and pattern designers of 10 casual wear brands for men were interviewed. The questions were about the use of basic pattern, design considerations, frequent alterations and measurements needed. The pattern designers agreed the need of basic pattern for casual wear. They try to develop the basic pattern which suits their own customer and style. 3. As astarting point, 3 different basic patterns were selected. 2 patterns were from the 2 interviewed brands and the last one was the pattern of ESMOD. The three patterns were made up into experimental jackets for wearing tests, i.e. appearance test and comfort test. The experimental jackets were made of muslin. 4. The 3 patterns were studied by means of comparing measurements and generalstyling. As a results it was found that the pattern of S brand is featuring I, the pattern of K brand is featuring H and the pattern of ESMOD is featuring Y. The results of wearing test showed that the pattern of S brand is the best among the three. 5. With the result of the wearing tests, many improvements were tried to the S brand pattern. They were to add ease around the chest line and waist line, to relocate the waist line and the break point, to increase the jacket length and upper arm width. The improved pattern was made of woolen for the wearing test. The wearing test showed developed pattern was improved significantly. The pattern was suggested as the researched basic pattern. 6. Basic pattern could be used to develop different styleskeeping its own fit and comfort. To verify the use of developed basic pattern, two buttoned single jacket was made. The wearing test of altered design proved the use of the researched basic pattern.
