인간의 공격성과 신 표상

Abstract

본 논문은 그리스도인들이 저마다 다양한 하나님의 이미지를 갖고 있음에 착안하여 하나님의 표상이 개인의 성장 배경과 심리 구조에 상당한 관계가 있다는 심리학적 전제로부터 출발하였다. 본 논문은 인간의 심리 발달과 종교적 경험을 해석하는데 있어 전통적 정신분석학을 넘어서는 유용성과 인간의 초기 대상관계 즉 어머니의 중요성을 주목한 대상관계 이론가들의 이론을 중심으로 하였다. 왜곡되고 고착된 공격적인 신 표상을 가지고 있는 한 사람의 사례를 대상관계 이론가들의 이론에 비추어 분석함으로써 인간의 초기 정신과정의 형성에 대한 이해를 돕고 신에 대한 표상이 개인의 전 생애에 걸쳐 어떻게 수정되고 혹은 고착되어 형성되는지 하는 과정을 논의해보고자 하였다. 따라서 본 논문의 목적은 대상관계 이론을 적용한 사례분석을 통해서 초기대상인 어머니가 개인의 인격과 신 표상에 미치는 영향을 밝히고 아울러 어머니와의 왜곡된 관계를 통해 형성되는 공격성이 신 표상에도 영향을 준다는 점을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과, 초기 대상관계의 실패에 고착된 사람은 성인이 된 후에도 건강한 대인관계를 맺지 못하고 발달이 저해되며, 신 표상도 변형과 재수정 작업을 거치지 못하고 퇴행된 양상으로 고착됨을 알 수 있었다. 중요한 것은 이처럼 잘못 고착된 신 표상은 무의식적인 어머니 표상으로부터 유래된다는 점이었다. 따라서 한 개인의 초기대상인 어머니가 건강한 개인의 인격 형성과 바람직한 신 표상에 얼마나 중요한 영향을 주는 지를 보여줌으로써 어머니의 역할이 중요하다는 점을 강조할 수 있었다. 치유를 가져오는 요서로 대상관계 이론가들의 공통적으로 한결같이 좋은 인견적인 대상과의 지속적인 관계맺음을 강조한다. 본질적으로 인간이란 초기 대상관계가 만들어낸 표상의 조각들을 통합하기 위해 신 표상을 형성하는 존재라면 보다 최종적인 치유는 ‘궁극적인 타자’와의 관계에서 이루어진다는 것이다. 이러한 ‘궁극적인타자’인 하나님을 대언하는 교회는 앞으로 건강하지 못한 심리 구조로 인해 바람직한 신 표상을 형성하지 못한 채 고통스러워하는 그리스도인들로 하여금 자기 인식을 새롭게 하도록 도울 뿐 아니라 진정으로 살아있는 하나님을 만들 수 있도록 하나님과의 진정한 인격적인 사귐을 격려해야한다. 따라서 앞으로의 교회는 한 걸음 더 나아가 경직된 권위주의적 구조인 ‘부성적 모델’에서 벗어나 대상관계적인 역할을 함으로써 ‘모성적 치유의 공동체’로서의 역할을 해야 하는 과제가 남아있다. ;By noticing that Christians have all different images of God, this thesis starts from the psychological assumption that the image of God has the considerable relation with personal backgrounds and psychology of individuals. This thesis is based don the usefulness, which violates the traditional psychoanalysis, and the early object relation, which is the theory that the theorists emphasize the importance of a mother, to analyze the human being's psychological development and the religious experiences. An analysis of a case, that the one who has a distorted, fixed and offensive god's image, was carried out by reflecting it to the object relation theories. This analysis helps to understand the early stages of the mental formation process and discusses the formation process of how the God's image is modified or fixed during one's whole life. Therefore the objectives of the thesis are to find the influenced of a mother as an early object on one's characteristics and God's image, and to analyze the influences of the offensive towards God's image that is formed from the distorted relation with a mother. According ti the research analysis, if a person who is fixed to the failure in an early object relation then the person impedes development and cannot be able to have the healthy personal relations even after becoming an adult, and also the God, image is fixed in degraded aspects without the processes of transformation and modification. The important part is that the wrongly fixed image of God originated form the unconscious image of a mother. Therefore the important roles of a mother as an early object are emphasized by showing the mother's influences on the healthy characteristic formation and the desirable God's images. The object relation theorists consistently emphasize the continuous involvements with a good moral character as the one of the healing components. Naturally human beings create the image of God for putting the image pieces, which the early object relation made, together therefore the ultimate cure com from the relations with 'positive other'. Churches speak for God, which is the positive other. Church have the tasks to help the christians who cannot form the desirable God's image due to the unhealthy mental states, to do a new self-recognition and also to encourage those ti have the honorable relation with God for making the real alive God. In accordance with, the churches should come out of 'paternal model', which is a stiff authoritative structure, and carry out the roles as a 'community of maternal cure' by accomplishing the roles of object relations.
