Analysis of the relationship between education and labour force participation of women in Zimbabwe showed that increased education led to increased labour force participation of women, however it was discovered that in some cases education was not the only determinant of the labour force participation of women. It was discovered that national income affected the variables of education, the balance in the sex ratio, life expectancy, birth rate, and women’s health. The combined outcome of the interaction of the latter variables affected the labour force participation of women. Cultural factors such as the custom of ‘lobola’ or bride price reduced the access to education and labour force participation of women. It was found that education could only be a strong determinant of labour force participation of women in Zimbabwe, if it empowered women to overcome cultural challenges and it occurred in a healthy economy. The need for support from government and society for women to achieve empowerment and development was realised.;교육과 여성 인력의 상관관계 분석은 짐바브웨에서 교육의 확장이 노동 시장에서 여성의 참여를 높인다는 사실을 보여준다.
