SI업체에서의 웹디자인 개발 방법론 적용사례에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구에서는 SI업체에서의 웹디자인 개발방법론을 연구하기 위해 SI업체에서의 웹디자인의 개발범위와 웹디자이너의 역할, 기존방법론 검토를 기반으로 하여 기존 모델의 한계점을 분석하고 그 범위 안에서 새로운 웹디자인 개발 방법론 중 개발 프로세스 모델을 정립하고 실제 웹사이트에 적용하였다. SI업체는 개발 중심의 회사로서 디자인 요소가 부수적인 요소로 중요성이 크지 않아 지속적인 디자인개발을 위한 생산성 향상 및 표준화가 약한 것이 실정이다. 또한 대형 SI업체의 경우 디자인 기획, 디자인 구현을 아웃소싱 하는 경우가 많다. 이 경우 디자인 아웃소싱 업체와의 협업이 어려운 점이 많다. 개발자와 웹에이젼시 모두 디자인의 프로세스의 체계성이 정리 되지 못해 수행하는데 업무 지연 등 프로젝트의 효율성을 높이기가 어렵다. 보통 SI업체에서 프로젝트 진행시 소프트웨어 공학 방법론을 적용하여 프로젝트를 진행하는데 있어 웹디자인에 대한 특이성을 고려 할 필요가 있고, 프로젝트(웹사이트,웹시스템) 진행시 개발 프로세스(초기단계,분석단계,설계단계, 구현단계, 완료단계)를 진행하는데 있어서도 같은 프로세스로 진행하는 것이 아니고, 프로젝트 특성마다 어떤 부문(task)은 스킵(Skip)하고 어떤 부문(task)은 강화해서 진행하여, 퀄러티 높은 결과물을 가져 올 수 있는 프로세스를 선택하는 것도 중요하다. 방법론에서 중심이 되는 프로세스는 커뮤니케이션의 표준으로서 중요하다. 방법론은 개발 구성원간에 현황 및 문제점, 개선방안 등의 파악이 용이 하고, 작업의 효율성을 증대 시킬 수 있으며, 업무지식이 보관된 산출물을 통해서 업무의 일관성 있는 추진 및 유지보수가 가능해 진다. 그에 따른 업무 생산성 및 비용절감의 효과를 가져 올 수 있는 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 방법론 중에서 SI업체에서의 웹디자인 개발 방법론으로서, SI업체에서의 웹디자인의 특수성을 지닌 프로세스 모델을 개발하고, 내용과 주체, 산출물을 정의 하여 SI업체에서의 웹디자인 개발방법론의 프로세스 모델을 제시하여 프로젝트 구축 시에 활용을 통하여 생산성 향상을 기대할 수 있을 것이다.;The purpose of this study was to develop a new web-design model and apply the model to a practical website within the scope of system integration. And in this study, it was also conducted to analyze the limit of the current model from the angles of web-design development scope, web designer’s roles and existing methodology perspective in order to study web-design methodology in a System Integration company. As a matter of fact, as a system development-oriented company considering web-designing an incidental factor, SI has not strongly focused on productivity improvement and standardization for continuous web-design development. Many of major SI companies are seeking an outsourcing case to plan and implement the design requisites. In this case, it could be difficult to collaborate with the design outsourcing company and increase project efficiency because there would be no common standard designing process between developer and web agency ,which may cause slow progress. When a general SI company proceeds with a project, it is necessary to consider the peculiarity of web-design for project execution through the adoption of software engineering methodology. And while development process(initial, analysis, design, build and close phases) is being implemented in project progress, processes can hardly be the same. Thus, it is of importance to select the suitable process for project execution that can provide high-quality outputs. Because the different project characteristics may result in divergent consequence by skipping or intensifying a specific task. Processes are considered very important as a communication standard which is the heart of methodology. Methodology helps project members easily to capture project status, issues and improvement opportunities, increase work efficiency, propel work consistency through know-how deliverables and maintain the system. And this will bring satisfactory effects in work productivity and cost reduction. Thus, in this study, as a web-design development methodology for SI companies, the new methodology will develop the adequate process model containing SI-oriented web-design characteristics and present the standard process model of web-design development methodology for SI companies by defining process contents, owners and outputs. If the proposed methodology is used for project execution, improvement in productivity can be anticipated for sure.
