건축의 이미지를 응용한 복식디자인 연구

Abstract

현대의 복식 디자인 연구는 세분화되어 다각도에서 이루어지고 있으며, 작가의 디자인 표현 방법 역시 다양해지고있다. 디자인의 세계 무대 진출이 활발해지기 시작한 현 시점에서 한국적인 이미지의 디자인 연구는 더욱 적극적으로 이루어져야 한다고 본다. 건축과 의상은 고대에서 현재에 이르기까지 시대의 반영물로 그 맥을 같이하여, 그 시대의 정신 문화와 인간의 미의식 표현의 조형물이라 할수있다. 이러한 점에서 한국적 이미지를 표현한 세계속의 한국 건축가 김수근의 작품을 모티브로하여 한국적 이미지의 건축물을 복식 디자인에 응용, 디자인하였다. 김수근은 작품 표현이 한국적이고, 세계에서 인정받는 유명한 건축가이며, 건축에서 파생된 예술 표현 이론인 포스트모더니즘을 국내에 처음으로 도입하였다는 점에 의의를 두어 그의 작품을 본 연구의 주제로 하였다. 한국적 이미지의 표현의 접근 방법은 포스트모더니즘의 전통성 표현을 이론적 바탕으로 하였다. 이미지의 표현 방법에 있어서는 포스트모더니즘의 은유적, 상징적 표현에 근거하여 전체적인 실루엣의 느낌의 표현에 중점을 두었다. 이러한 이론적 배경으로 총 8작품을 제작하였으며, 본 연구의 결과는 다음과같다. 첫째, 김수근의 작품의 독창적인 외형은 복식의 실루엣을 변화있게 표현 할수있었다. 둘째, 모시 소재로는 건축물의 견고함을 나타내고, 김수근의 작품은 인체의 곡선을 살려 디자인하여 조화를 이루게 할수있었다. 세째, 한국적 전통성의 표현은 고 건축의 지붕선을 모티브로한 실루엣의 표현이 가장 그 이미지를 강하게 표현될수있다. 네째, 입체적 표현을 강조하기 위해서는 단색으로 구성하고, 이음 부분을 배색을 넣어 인타록 처리하는 것은 디자인을 더욱 강조하는 방법이다. 다섯째, 복식 디자인에 있어서 컴퓨터의 이용은 다양한 디자인 전개와 단시간내에 다각도에서 디테일 변형 실습을 가능하게 해주며, 일러스트 기법에 있어서도 배경의 변화와 소재의 사실적 표현이 용이하다. 본 연구자는 한국적 전통성의 표현에 중점을 두어 종전의 연구와 달리 직접적 표현이 아닌, 전체적인 실루엣에서 그 이미지가 표현되도록 하였다. 복식 디자인의 연구는 주제를 잘 표현한 디자인의 결론이 중요하겠으나 디자인의 보다 진보적인 연구를 위하여 컴퓨터로 디자인의 전개및 변형과 다양한 일러스트 기법을 시도하였다. 앞으로의 디자인 연구는 한국적 전통성을 현대적으로 표현하여 세계 무대의 진출을 목표로 이루어져야하며, 디자인 전개 방법에 있어서도, 평면적인 디자인 구상에서 더 나아가 컴퓨터를 통한 비디오 제작으로 패션 쇼의 기획까지도 이루어져야 하겠다.;The researches on modern fashion design have more specific and multifactorial, and expressional approaches of designers become more deverse too. At the present point of time when the design itself extends actively througout the world, there should be may studies that focus on the development of korea images. Fashion ans architecture can be said that they are in the same context in a sense that they reflect the aspects of time from the past to the present, so they can be called as the formative products of man's moral culture and asethetical consciousess. In this point of view, this study is to investigate the arthitectural works of Mr. kim swoo-keun, who is one of the korean architects very famious throughout the world, for developing and applicating certain Korea images into fashion design. The reason of selecting Mr. Kim's works as a model is that his expression is very traditional one of korea, and he is very famous architectect whose architectural talents are being admired all over the world. and he is the first architect in korea introduced post-modernism into the world of design. therefore, based on these chracterstics of Mr.Kim's work, this study has explored the theoretical back-ground for expressing traditional korean images under the post modernistic context. In approaching to image expression, the expressional methods that give certain silhouette effect on materials in general have been particularly used throught the metaphorical and symbolical expressing way of post modernism. And also considering the industrialized and informationalized tendency of society. computes have been used in developing various designs. To establish theretical background of this study, total 8 design works have been manufactured. And the results of this study are as follows : first, researches on designs applicated Kim soo keun'work make it possble for fashion design to become more deverse in formative structure. Second, among the materials for expressing certain silhouette feel, ramic cloth is most egective one and KIm soo keen'work make it possible for betiful silhouette impression. Third, among the traditional Korean images, roof line of ancient architecture is the most impressive one in expressing silhouette feel. Fourth, for emphasizing cubistic images, unincolours are most effective, and also is interlock treatment of seam parts. Fifth, development of fashion design by using computers could contribute to the rapid composition of and diverse researches on it. And, At the present point of time when the industrial design itself is needed development, there should be may studies that focus on the development of fashion design by using computer.
