한지를 利用한 발(簾)에 關한 硏究

Abstract

시대의 변천과 함께 우리의 많은 풍물들은 기계문명의 발달과 끊임없이 변화하는 생활속에서 점차 소멸되어 가고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 우리전통기물들의 공예로서의 예술적 가치를 인정하고 고유의 민속미에다가 현대감각을 부여하여 적극적인 변화를 추구함에 목적을 두고 전통발과 현대공예로서의 발을 문헌을 통해 알아보고 발의 재료로 한지를 사용함으로써 지승공예를 중심으로 전통한지공예의 종류도 살펴보았다. 이러한 연구과정을 토대로 발의 기능적인 장점과 한지의 재료적 특성을 이용하여 한지를 이용한 발을 제작함으로써 얻은 결과는 다음과같다. 첫째, 잠재된 우리의 미의식을 바탕으로 오늘날의 발의 용도가 실내장식적이고 하나의 예술품으로서 미적가치를 지닌 생활예술로 부각되고있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 한지는 질감이 얇고 부드럽지만 여러겹이면 화살도 뚫지 못할정도로 강인함을 지니고 있고 가볍고 견고하며 쉽게 재활용됨으로써 옛날이나 지금이나 더 할 나위 없이 훌륭한 紙공예재료임을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 한지공예가 갖고 있는 전통적인 미와 고유색을 현대적 안목으로 재인식하고 끊임없이 발전할 현대공예분야에서 재창조의 관심을 불러 일으키는 계기가 되었으면 한다. 넷째, 전통발과 한지공예의 자료들을 통해서 자연적인 소박미 속에서 키워온 우리선조들의 전통적 미의식과 내면적인 예술감각이 그대로 표현되어져 있음을 느낄 수 있었고 이는 반드시 생활속에서 발전계승되어져야 함을 강조 하고자 한다.;With the change of time, many of our folk things are gradually disappearing in the development of mechanical civilization and ever-changing life. So, in this study, acknowledging our traditional things artistic value as an industrial arts, it is necessary to pursue positive change by giving modern sense to traditional ethnic beauty. For this purpose traditional blind and the other blinds are studied as madern industrial art and also the types of traditional Korean paper industrial art. It is centered on Paper Twin Handicraft art using Korean paper as material. Based on this research procedure, the results of producing blind using Korean paper with the functional quality of blind and baterial characteristics of Korean paper are: First, it was revealed that based on our latent beauty sense, today's blind are used as interior decoration and living art having its art beauty value. Second, it is hoped that by reacknowledging traditional beauty and unique color which the industrial art of Korean paper has-with modem view point a chance of bringing interest in recreation in the sphere of ever-diveloping modem industrial art. Third, texture of Korean paper is thin and smooth, but when they are layered, it has tenacity which ever the arrow can't pierce through. It's being light, strong and reusble through. It's being light, strong and reusable, it is the best material of present industrial art as well as it was in former times. Fourth, through the material of traditional blind and industrial art of Korean paper, it is felt that our forefather's traditional beauty sense-nourished in natural simplicity-and inner art sense was expressed in such way and it should be developed and continue to succeed in our life.
