도시환경오염문제 인식을 위한 포스터의 표현연구

Abstract

커뮤니케이션 디자인은 미적 가치가 있는 것만을 추구하는 것이 아니라 오히려 감각에 소구하는 형식을 통해서 보다 높은 심리작용을 이용하는 감화형식으로 대중에게 전달하고 설득하여 교육시키는 일을 한다. 오늘날 환경문제의 영역이 국제적으로 확산되어 인간의 생명을 위협하는 심각한 사회문제로 대두되고 있어 환경의 보존과 보호에 대한 사회 전 분야의 참여가 구체화 되어가고 있는 시점에서 본 연구는 환경오염에 대한 문제해결에 있어 그 의식을 변화시키는데 포스터라는 시각전달 매체를 이용하고자 한다. 또한 시각전달의 방법에 있어서는 표현을 주로 하는 간접소구 형식의 포스터의 개념을 가지고 전달하고자 하는 메시지의 의미를 신속, 정확하게 하는 포스터의 기능 이외에 사람들에게 애호 받는 포스터가 되도록 한다. 즉, 조형적으로 아름다운 포스터를 제작하여 포스터가 생활화되도록 하였다. 이러한 포스터는 부착되는 공간의 확대를 가져오고 포스터가 일정 행사기간동안 사용되고 사라지는 것이 아니라 수명을 연장시켜 늘 볼 수 있는 포스터가 되도록 하여 오랫동안 인간의 내면에 무의식적으로 작용하여 의식을 변화시켜 행동의 변화를 가져오도록 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 그래픽 영역 중 가장 기본적인 형식이며 오랜 역사를 가지고 인간의 감각에 호소하며 오늘날에는 표현양식의 다양한 전개로 보다 깊은 의미를 지니고 있는 포스터의 이론적 배경과 사회계몽포스터 그리고 표현의 방법으로는 장식포스터에 관하여 살펴보고 환경오염문제에 대한 이론적 배경과 사례를 고찰하여 그 문제점들과 재인식을 위한 필요성들에 대하여 살펴보았다. 이러한 연구의 배경 하에서 표현을 위주로 하는 간접소구 형식을 가진 작품을 제시하였다. 작품은 환경에 대한 교훈을 주는 계몽적 기능과 더불어 미적 가치를 지닌 순수한 하나의 조형물로서 보는 즐거움까지 주도록 하며 포스터에 대한 표현방법의 다양함으로 포스터의 가치를 새롭게 인식하도록 한다.;The Communication Design does not seek after the aesthetic quality, but rather delivers, persuades, and teaches to the general public through the form of perception by means of employing mental process in centering form. Today, the scope of environmental problems are extended. This, then become serious social problems which theaten our lives. At the point where the concern for the preservation and protection of environment is taking shape, this study shall utilize the posters, the media of visual delivery, to change our consciousness in finding the solution for the environmental problems. Moreover, the message for delivering its meanings with the concept of posters for expressive indirect appeal should not be only fast and accurate, but also be cherished by people, and that is, when producing the beautiful posters formatively they become living. They are not to be attached to the expansion of space and disappear after given a period of certain time for event to take place, but to extend their duration so that they can be seen always, changing our consciousness and behavior when they are unconsciously influencing in our mind for a long time. Therefore, this study looks into the theoretical background of posters, the posters of social enlightenment and ornament posters in its method of expression which carry deep meanings in the diverse development of form expression. They are a basic form in the field of graphics and with its long history, they appeal to our senses. This study also observes theoretical background and examples for the environmental pollution, and the necessity for their solution and recognition so that as a basis for this study. Works oriented with the expressive indirect appeal have been suggested. The work, as a genuine model of aesthetic quality and of an enlightenment function to give a lesson on the environment, should be pleasurable to our eyes and the recognition for the value of posters must be renewed with the diversity of expression methods.
