스크린 프린팅을 이용한 실내장식적 활용

Abstract

최근 지속적인 경제발전과 산업의 발달로 생활의 수준이 급격히 향상되었다. 이에 따라서 높아진 쾌적한 주생활에 대한 관심은 자신만의 생활공간을 독창적으로 꾸미기 위해 여러가지 소재를 사용한다. 그 중에서 염직물은 특유한 부드러운 감촉과 다양한 색상으로, 보다 나은 질을 요구하는 현대사회에 생활환경의 변화를 주는 많은 요소를 가진 소재이다. 특히, 염색작품의 생활용품으로서의 시도는 주생활 공간의 미적 가치를 높이는데 의의가 있으며 또한, 독창적인 디자인을 요구하는 현대사회에 상응할 수 있는 상품개발에도 많은 도움이 될 것이다. 따라서 본 연구자는 독창적인 염직물을 쾌적한 주생활을 위한 실내 장식재로 응용할 수 있는 가능성을 모색하는데 목적을 두고 있으며, 이를 위하여 날염디자인의 의의, 실내 장식재로서 날염디자인의 역할, 날염디자인의 패턴, 설문지를 통한 날염디자인의 현황을 분석, 연구한 결과 수공예적 스크린 프린팅 기법으로 작품 및 실생활 용품을 제작 하였다. 본 연구를 진행하는 과정에서 다음과 같은 결론에 도달하였다. 첫째, 보다 바람직한 날염이 되기 위해서는 조형성 의외에 시장성, 가공성이 중요한 요소가 되므로 유행의 흐름을 잘 분석해야만 한다. 둘째, 날염된 주거용품이 실내환경과 조화를 이루어 미적 효과를 높일 수 있도록 하려면 색상과 패턴이 고려되져야 한다. 셋째, 개인적인 표현을 초월한 삶의 보편적인 형태인 기하학적 소재는 산업화되고 기계화된 현대를 긍정하고 합리주의적인 조형이며, 오늘날 디자인의 단순화에 따른 소재이다. 따라서 주부들의 미적 욕구를 만족시켜 줄 것이다. 넷째, 색상에 있어 본인 의도와는 다른 효과가 나타날 수도 있고, 침장류를 위해서는 많은 양을 찍어야 했으므로, 제작기술의 숙련이 필요함을 인식하게 되었다. 또한, 실생활 용품의 실험 과정에 있어서 직접염료, 산성염료, 반응성염료, 안료를 사용해 본 결과, 염료들로 제작하는 것이 바람직하겠으나, 제작과정에서는 안료를 사용하였다. 이것은 실생활용품을 만들기 위한 작업이 다량인 점과 수공예적 스크린 프린팅 방법인 점에 기인하여 제작공정과 증열처리, 수세등의 후처리 과정이 간편한 안료를 선택하였으나, 안료의 뻣뻣하고 불투명한 느낌의 단점을 최대한대로 보안하여 사용하도록 하였다. 본 안료를 사용한 실용품의 하나의 시도품으로써, 실제로 제품화 될 경우에는 다양한 염료를 사용하여 실용적인 날염디자인이 되도록 하여야겠으며, 앞으로 다양한 재료를 다룬 날염 디자인에 대한 연구가 기대되어진다. 결론적으로, 염색으로 제작된 실생활용품을 실용적인 면과 함께 좀더 개성적인 공간을 조성하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위해서는 염색공예가들의 자각적인 활동과 함께 기업인들의 올바른 인식으로서 염색실용품 개발을 위한 적극적 육성이 뒷받침 되어야 한다.;The continuing economic and industrial developments have brought a sharp increase in living standards A more prosperous living resulted in more concerns about nice housing surrorndings which brought various materials in use to decorate one's own house in a unique fashion. Among them dyed textiles are very fitting material for a variety of tastes in the modern society, since they have unique soft touch and divers colours. In particular, a living goods trial of dyed textiles will contribute not only to improve artistic values of living spaces but also to develop decoration products satisfying the needs of modern society for unique design goods. This thesis examines a possibility of original dyed works applied for interior decoration as a delightful housing surrounding. The trial products and artistic works of hardcraft screen printing method are based on the analyses of the significance of textile printing design, the role of printing design as an interior decoration material, and the patterns of textile printing design as well as the results of questionaire investigation about consumer tastes. Following points are the conclusions drawn through this study First, marketability and easy processing as well as formative features are crucial for a desirable printing product. Therefore thorough analyses of the latest fasthion style is essential. Second, colors and patterns should be taken into consideration to increase the artistic value of printing products through its harmony with other parts of the space. Third, geometic design products will satisfy the artistic desires of modern society. The geometric design describes a universal from of life beyond individual expressions, taking in the industrialized and mechanized modern society in a rationalistic way. Forth, printing technology is of great significance beacuse printing results are subject to mistakes in coloring and bedrood articles require repeated printings. Pigments procdce more stiff and opaque effect than dyestufts and according to the printing experiments using direct dyes, acid dyes, reactive dyes and resin color, dyetuffs which are easily colored appear to be desirable. But the trial products used resin color of which printing process and post-processing such as steaming and washing are more conveninet than dyestuffs because they are of handcreaft screen printing method and because of the much quantity of works, reducing their stiff and opaque effect. More divers dyestuffs can be applied to commodity prouctions and further studies on the dyestuffs for printing design products will be of great sigmificance. Inconclusion, living goods of printing design is of use to cleat a more original living space with their practicalness. Applications of printing design have a large scope for interior decoration, and they need conscious activities of printing artists and active supports of entrepreneurs to develop printing design products.
