실내공간을 위한 도예벽장식에 관한 연구

Abstract

쾌적한 생활환경을 創造하고 싶다고 하는 인간의 욕구는 우리의 문명이 시작되면서부터 항상 눈앞에 부딪히는 現實的인 課題이다. 또 실내 장식으로서의 내부공간의 최종적인 부부인 壁은 그만큼 철저하게 세심한 배려를 필요로 하는 부분이기도 하다. 최근 예술에 대한 일반인의 관심도가 높아지면서 도예분야에서도 고정된 관념을 떠나 주위환경과 관계를 가짐으로써 環境陶藝로서의 도예벽장식에 대한 관심이 높아가고 있다. 몇 년 전까지만 해도 거의 찾아보기 어렵던 도예벽장식이 이제는 도시속의 지하철, 은행, 박물관, 호텔로비 등 대중의 공간에서 쉽게 접할 수가 있다. 이런 추세는 도예가 工藝의 개념에서 탈피하여 특권층의 전유물이 아니라 일반대중의 생활속에서 호흡하고 있음을 나타내주고 있으며, 획일화된 도시화, 산업화 속에서 무미건조하고 차단된 공간속의 現代人들에게 그들의 결핍된 정서를 충족시키고 삶의 활력을 주는 예술로서 각광을 받고 있다는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구자는 우리의 일상생활과 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있는 室內空間의 도벽을 제작함으로써 도예벽장식의 美的 가치를 부여함과 동시에 우리 삶의 정서를 풍요롭게 해 주는 역할로써 발전시키고 적용시키는데 그 의의를 두었다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 도예벽장식의 역사적 배경이 되는 타일(Tile), 塼, 陶板등의 흐름을 살펴보았고, 현대적인 감각으로 조형화된 작품을 제작하고자 현대에 이르러 제작된 실내 도예벽장식의 유형을 제작기법상 평면형, 부조형, 벽화형, 테라코타형, 복합형으로 분류하여 형태, 기법, 표현양식 등을 연구하였다. 작품제작은 시작품 계획 아래 기하학과 자연의 형태를 기본형으로 하여 입체적인면에 중심을 두어 시각적인 효과를 강조하였다. 작품의 제작방법은 泥奬用 白色粘土를 사용하여 작품의 形態와 크기에 따라 석고틀을 이용한 이장주입성형, 압축주입성형, 板성형을 하였으며 작품의 특성에 따라 시유와 소성과정을 달리 하였다. 이상에서와 같이 다양한 방법을 통하여 제작된 도예벽장식이 쾌적한 실내환경조성에 기여함과 동시에 항상 거주하는 안락한 휴식처와 안식처로서의 실내환경 조성에 새로운 감각으로 인식되기를 바라는 바이다.;The human desire to creat a pleasant environment is a aotual problem, that is always met for us from the begining of culture. And this wall, which is the last part of indoor environment of interior design, needs careful abservation. At recent, the people's interest about the art is elevated, and the concern for the environmental ceramics is elevated, too. A few years ago, there were nearly no environmental ceramics but now, it is easy to meet them at subway bank, museum, and the hotel lobby. So the ceramics is not more exclusive posession of special man, but is a something that the public have. The ceramics is interesting art to modern human being. They give the activity of life to human, who is emotionally deficient at the civilization and industrialization. I make ceramics of indoor environment, which is closely attrached to our life, and it will give us the value of beauty and emotional fruitulness. This study is to survey the history of tile, Jeon, ceramic salb (a kind of brick) which form the historical backgrounding modern ceramic of ornament of wall. The scope of this work is emphasized in a visually efficiency, on the basis of geometric and natural forms presented in designing scheme to the test work. The works of work-producation involved a clay ornament inserting and forming, and a pressing formation of clay templet, in which white clay for usage as mud ornament, were used as materials, and slip casting were used according to form and size, and glaze is applied in appropriate colors. Firing process in used in relation to the character of the work. The environmental ceramics, which is made through urnable method, will make a pleasant environment and give a confortable resting place to us.
