어린이를 위한 움직이는 그림책에 관한 연구

Abstract

어린이는 움직임을 좋아한다 어린이는 그림을 좋아한다. 움직임과 그림은 어린이와 불가분의 관계에 있다. 어린이의 생활 모든것이 끊임없는 움직임이다. 그들은 항상 움직이며 만지작 거리고 탐색하려 한다. 이러한 움직임은 어린이의 놀이와 연결된다. 어린이에게 놀이는 학습이며 생활 그 자체이다. 어린이의 심성을 개발하기 위해서는 사물에 의한 놀이가 필요하며 움직이는 그림책은 놀이 역할로서의 어린이의 심성을 개발하는데 효율적이라 하겠다. 그것은 어린이가 움직이는 그림책을 통하여 직접 조작하여 참여하고 그 변화된 움직임을 유발하는데 대한 성취의 만족감을 갖는다. 시지각과 손의 근육운동의 협응관계와 3차원 공간과 그 변화하는 시간을 인지 함으로써 감각을 발달시킨다. 다양한 체험은 개념을 발달하게 하며 그것은 상상력을 풍부하게 하고 곧 창조력으로 이어진다. 어린시기의 체험은 인생의 그 어떤 시기 보다 중요하다. 어린이 그림책은 어린이가 인생의 제일 처음에 접하는 시각예술이라 할 수 있겠다. 어린이는 그림책을 재미로 보고 즐거운 놀이의 대상으로 여긴다. 그러한 가운데 그림책의 2차적 파생의 영향은 교육성을 내포하고 있다. 즉, 즐거운 가운데 저절로 교육적이다. 그러나 현재 우리 어린이들은 책을 보는 것보다 TV, 비디오, 전자오락, 만화등 폭력적 자극이 강한것에만 시선이 끌리고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 어린이가 책에 흥미와 오락으로 가까이 하여 일상생활 속에서 인생의 풍요를 느끼게 해야한다. 본 연구는 움직이는 그림책의 영상세계를 선명하게 해주고 더 깊고 더 넓게 해주어 어린이의 마음을 움직이게 한다. 움직임의 놀라움과 생생함은 어린이의 마음에 울려 퍼져 깊이 남아있게 한다. 그것은 어린이가 성장하여 어른이 되어도 풍부한 정서와 꿈과 동경을 간직하도록 키워준다. 움직이는 그림책의 실제 움직임으로 인해 마음속에서 움직임이 일어나는 것 같이 환영적(illusion)움직임과 함께 실제로 일어나는 듯한 느낌을 갖는다. 만화영화나 놀이인형극의 효과를 가져와 어린이가 직접 조작하면서 스스로 이야기하고 새로운 아이디어를 만들어 내 어린이의 상상력과 창조력의 발달을 시키는데 촛점을 맞추었다. 여러사회와 사물의 이해를 돕고자하는 의도에서 연구에 임하였으며 또한 움직이는 그림책이 어린이에게 환상(Fantasy)의 세계와 다양한 시각적 환경을 만들어 주는데 도움이 되었으면 한다.;Children likes the moving. Children has a great fancy of the illustration. Both the moving and the illustration are inseparably related to each other. The whole life time of children is consecutive moving. They always moves and fumbles and gropes for something. This moving has a deep relation with playing. To children, playing is a kind of liarning and life itself. It is necessary to play with something for the purpose of developing the mentality of the children. The pop-up book has a great role in doing so. It gives the children satisfaction by manipulating and participating and making the varied moving through a pop-up book. children develop his sense by recognizing the coordination between the sense of sight and touch and understanding three-dimension and variation of space. Varied experience develop the cognition and it make the imagination affluent. As a result, children is equipped with the creative power. The forming of character has set up before the time of entering the elementary school. Freud indicates that the basic structure of personality is build up before being the six-years old. In the light of that facts, an action book has a great influence on children. Children's action book is the visual art that they initially get in touch with, children is excited by a pop-up book and look upon it as an object of playing material. In the course of doing so the derivative effect of a pop-up book is educational influence. In other words, excitement connote the training for children. But TV, video or electric game attracts children more than book. In this situation, we should divert their attraction from those. We are responsible for making them delighted and exceited at the time of seeing a pop-up book. "We make a great emphasis on the excitement and curiosity of children. Piaget point out that children's curiosity is a fuel in the process of learning." A pop-up book make the children's imagination more vivid, profound and vivid, so it touches the mind of them. Amazement and vividness of moving echoes in the deep region of their mind. When they becomes to be grown-up, it make it possible for them to cherish the emotion and dream.
