음악의 리듬감을 이용한 시각 표현 연구

Abstract

예술은 인간의 기본적인 정신활동으로서 인간의 근원적인 경험 속에 존재해 왔으며 미의 창조를 목적으로 한다. 음악과 미술을 포함한 모든 중류의 예술들은 미학적 관점에서 볼때 미의 추구라는 유사성을 지니고 있다. 그러나 인간의 근원적인 감각적 인식 영역인 시각적 능력과 청각적 능력이 이루어 놓은 미술과 음악과의 사이에 상호 밀접한 관련성이 있다고 하더라도 이 두 분야가 항상 같은 방법으로 발전한다고 볼 수 없다. 왜냐하면 사용되는 매체의 차이 때문에 창조의 방법이 분명히 달라지기 때문이다. 음악은 자연에서의 음의 질서를 통하여 표현되며, 공간예술인 회화. 그래픽은 어느 정도 미적 질서의 구조 속에 구속받고 있다. 그러나 예술 표현 수단으로서의 음악과 미술은 시간예술과 공간예술이라는 매체의 특이성에도 불구하고 서로가 시간성과 공간성을 동시에 취함으로써 다른 형식을 취하더라도 유사한 내적의미를 가진다. 따라서 본 연구에서 음악적 이미지를 시각화하기 위해 시각과 정각의 상호연관성을 살펴보고 그 예로써 음악적 요소를 시각 예술작품에 표현한 작가들의 실례를 분석하고 비교함으로서 청각언어인 음악과 시각언어인 미술의 융합 가능성을 제시해 보고자 하였다. 작품제작에 있어서는 공간속에서 흐르는 음의 리듬을 조형요소인 선, 형태, 색체 등으로 표현할 수 있는데 본 연구자의 작품에서는 선과 형태만을 이용하여 리듬감을 나타내려는 새로운 표현 세계를 추구하였다. 제작방법으로는 크기가 1㎠ 안에 다양한 조형 요소들을 먹작업하여 복사기를 이용하여 계속 확대해 가면서 그것의 반복과 변화를 통하여 시각적 조화를 이루려 하였다.;Art has existed in the original experience of human being as the basic mental activity of human being, and it aims at the creation of beauty. All kinds of arts to include music and fine art has the similarity, the pursuit of beauty, to see in the aesthetic viewpoint. But, though there is mutually close relevancy between fine art and music that the visual ability and aural ability which are human original sensual recognition formed, it cannot be deemed that these two fields may not develop with same method at all times. Because the method of creation becomes different clearly due to the difference of medium to be used. Music is expressed through the order of sound in the nature, and the painting graphic which is the time art is being bound if the structure of aesthetic order to some extent. However, in spite of the peculiarity of the media which are space art and time art, music and fine art as the expression means of art have the similar inner meaning by taking time nature and space nature mutually simultaneously, even in case of taking different form. Thus, in this research, the researcher tried to suggest the possibility of the harmony of music, auditory language and the fine art, visual language, by examining the mutual relevancy of the sense of sight and the auditory sense and analysing and comparing the cages of the artists who expressed the musical elements to the art works. In the work manufacture, the sound rhythm to flow in space may be expressed with line, form and color etc, which are modeling elements. Then, in the work of this researcher, the new expression world to try to extpres the rhythm sense by using only line and form was pursued. As for the manufacture method, this researcher tried to form the visual harmony through the repetition and change of diverse modeling elements, expanding them within 1㎠ through chinese ink work by using copier. As music and fine art of which the expression method is different respectively are alike mutually as good materials and they have the possibility of power of expression mutually in this process, Conclusion that they may widen the art range could be obtained.
