지역문화공간을 위한 환경 디자인 연구

Abstract

기존의 문화 공간이라고 하면, 지적, 예술적활동으로 표현되는 창조물을 전시하고 공연하는 공간으로 인식되어 왔으나 사회 구조의 변화에 따라 기존의 지배적인 질서가 붕괴되고 대안적인 개념, 가치관이 부상되고 확산되는 분기점에서, 문화의 사회적 역할이 증가되어 문화 공간의 성격이 사회체계와 연결된 사회교육 및 정보의 총합으로서의 통합적, 대중적 개방적 성격을 띠게 되었다. 이에따라 경제 발전에 따라 산업구조에 의한 중앙 집중적 행정에서 지역 단위로 분리되고 있으며, 이로인한 지역간의 격차가 생기고 있는데 이는 주로 문화 환경의 분리 및 격차로 이해되어진다. 일반인의 여가 증가, 문화 시설 확대 공연전시 행사 등으로 전반적인 문화 환경의 양적 질적 확대로 대중적, 개방적이 되어가고 있다. 그러나 문화 환경의 질적, 양적 향상에 비하여 이를 수용하는 일반인의 문화 감각은 미흡한 것으로 보이며, 이것은 문화 예술 창조자와 수용자 사이의 괴리 현상에서 비롯된 것이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문화적 역할을 중요시 하는 사회적 요구에 따라 일반인의 참여 가능성을 높이고, 지역 문화의 계승, 발전 보급에 힘쓰고 전반적인 문화환경의 질적 수준을 높이는데 기여할 수 있는 공간을 계획하는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 이에 따른 지역 문화 공간 환경 디자인을 위한 구체적인 과정과 결과를 보면 다음과 같다. 1. 연구의 목적과 범위를 정하고 방법을 기술하였다. 2. 지역문화 공간계획을 위한 일반적 배경으로 문화의 개념에 의한 문화 공간의 성격을 규정하고 기존 문화 시설에 적용 가능성을 살펴보았다. 2-1 기존의 문화의 개념은 지적, 예술적 활동으로 표현되는 창조활동을 강조하였으나 현재의 사회는 개인, 사회, 외부세계와 연관되어, 그 사회의 행동양식, 가치관, 신념을 통하여 사회 자체를 표현하며, 모든 사회 활동의 기초가 되는 정보의 중앙 집결지로서의 역할을 강조한다. 2-2 문화는 사회 체계내의 지배적인 질서가 붕괴되는 시점에서 체계-환경의 관계 변화로 사회 체계를 안정화시키는 feed-back 작용을 할 수 있는 정교한 체계 기능을 갖는다. 2-3 일반인의 심미적 판단을 밝혀내고 고양시키는 방법으로 '과학적 요소와 예술적인 요소를 결합하여 일반인이 그들 환경의 개발과 설계에 관련되도록 하므로서 일반인이 적극적으로 참여될 수 있는 것이며, 공동체의 다양한 정보를 얻을 수 있는 중심지가 된다. 3. 지역 문화 공간 환경 디자인을 위한 기초 연구로서 다학제적 접근방법을 도입하여 구체적 디자인 과정과 결과를 위한 체계적 접근을 시도한다. 3-1 인간사회는 수많은 보조적 문제와 정보의 흐름을 통한 체계로 인간-인간, 인간-환경, 환경-환경 사이에는 다양한 환류가 필요하며, 상호 작용을 통해 유지되는 정교한 체계이다. 3-2 물리적 환경으로서의 문화 환경 디자인은 인간-행태-환경이란 관계속에 환경 지각과 인지를 고려한 디자인으로 체계적인 공간구성을 이루도록 하였다. 4. 조사된 문헌 및 다학제적 접근을 토대로 지역 문화 공간 디자인의 개념적 틀을 마련하고 구체적 과정에 대한 대안을 제시하였다. 4-1 사회적 요구에 따른 지역 문화 공간을 디자인 하는데 있어서 "개포시민 문화의 집"이란 가상적인 주제를 선정하였다. 4-3 과학과 예술의 결합을 위한 체계적인 정보 집결지로서의 역할을 위하여 전체 공간의 연결성과 공간 연결에 따른 체계적 교육이 이루어지고 이과정에서 정보가 정리되고 유입될 수 있도록 디자인하였다. 4-4 문화 공간을 환경-체계로 인식하여 문화 환경 디자인의 문제점을 보안하는 기초자료로 관련시켜, 바람직한 환경이 되도록 하는데 의의가 있다. 5. 문화 공간 디자인은 방대하고 총체적인 것으로서 본 연구의 다루지 못한 연구는 다음 과제로 한정된 영역에서 보다 넓은 영역간의 연속적인 연구로서 전개되어야 할 것이다.;The cultural space, previously, is referred as place when only the cultural arts of ak certain class of people are dealt with. But, in proportion with the stability of the economy, the demand by the general public on the cultural scented environment has increased. The cultural arts, rather than remain as possessions of the general public, through amplification of the culturalestablishments and abundance of the concerts and artexhibitions. But, compare to the gualitative and quantitative almmalance of the arts, the cultural sensibility of the public will seems inadeguate, and eatrangement between the art creater and the consumer seems to be the reason. Moreover, in the corse of the economic development, industrial and structural differences between the regions in crenses people's consciouness for cultural scented spaces. The space preserves the culture of its region and seeks for moth dernized recreation, at the same time, thisprovides harmony between them. This thesis aims to study the plans to provide spaces that can contribute in succession, development, and replenishment of theregional culture, to elevate the general cultural environment, and to increase the possivility of general public's participation because of the social demand. The specific procedures and results for the design of regional culture space as folldws : 1. The aim and the scope are defined before the account of the methodology. 2. As the background for the planning of the regional culture spaces, the regulation of the characteristics of the culture are defined, and the applicable possibility of this is studied through the investigation of such examples. 3. As s basic study for providing the design of the regional culture space, and for a definite procedure and result, scholastic and structural method of approach is tried, respectively. 4. A conceptual boundauy for the regional culture space is provided on the basis of investigations of documents and materials, and scholastic approach. And, an alternative for the definite procedure is presented 5. The regional culture space, on the cultural side of succession, development and replenishment of the regional culture, and that this space provides, a better living environment to men,. qualitatively, is thought to be a demanding social problem. And, as an alternative solution to this problem designs are presented.
