우리나라 호텔 종업원 제복의 실증적 연구

Abstract

우리나라의 호텔은 날로 증가하는 觀光客들과 함께 급속히 成長하고 있다. 호텔産業은 앞으로 더욱 우리나라 관장산업에 않은 역할을 하게 될 것이다. 이런 점에서 볼때 호빌 從業員의 유니폼은 아주 중요한 역할을 하게 될 것이다. 그러나 이에 대한 연구나 개발은 잘 이루어 지지 않고 있다. 현재 우리나라의 호텔 유니폼은 외국의 것을 그대로 모방 답습하여 호텔의 독창성과 우리나라 고유의 美가 보여지지 않는다는 점 등이 문제점으로 지적되고 있다. 이런 점에서 우리나라에 대한 홍보와 더불어 호텔의 개성을 나타내는 유니폼이 절실히 필요하다고 본다. 따라서 本 論文에서는 우리나라의 고유미와 특징을 나타낼 수 있는 유니폼을 만들어 보고자 하였다. 독창적이라 하여 무조건 한복을 모방하거나 유니폼에서 동떨어진 것이 아니고 서구적 스타일의 유니폼에 한국적인 섬유질감과 색상을 선택하여 우리나라 고유의 美가 돋보이는 유니폼을 만들어 보고자 노력하였다. 그리하여 외국 관광객들이 호텔에서 받는 인상에서도 한국을 느낄 수 있도록 하고자 하였다.;With the increase of tourists in number, hotel industry in Korea not only has become a growth industry but also will be sure to play an important role in promoting tourist industry. Viewed in this light, the seemingly insignificant uniforms worn by hotel employees, which have been unselective in modeling themselves after foreign ones, should characteristically be redesigned. This thesis is based on the realization that rarely has attention been given to creating the uniform proper to the hotel and to Korea as well. The emphasis on the uniform's characteristics does not mean hanging on blindly to Korean traditional costumes, but rather combining the functional Western-styled uniform with distinguished colors and fabrics that smack strongly of Korea. Thus, the tourists, casting a glance at the employess' uniforms, may be pleased to find themselves in exotic Korea.
