韓國符作紋樣의 造形的 再構成에 관한 硏究

Abstract

과거나 현대를 막론하고, 인간이 가장 평범하게 소망하는 富貴, 壽福, 多男등 농경사회의 오복으로 일컫는 가치감정은, 일상적이고 본질적인 수복벽사의 신앙적 염원에서 나온것이라 할 수 있다. 이런 신앙적 바램은, 민간신앙적인 종교적상징성으로 표출되어 직접적으로 생활의 정서와 삶의 의식을 반영시킨 符作같은 형태로 나타났다. 전통미술의 전통적성격은 민중생활의 심성이 얼마만큼 충실하게 담겨있느냐에 있다할 때, 부작은 민족이 공유하는 생활감정, 가치감정의 소산으로 전통미술문화유산중 오랜 역사를 가진 것으로 한국전통미술의 원류가 직결되어 있음을 확인해 주고 있다. 결국 부작은 널리 통속화되고 민간화된 신앙을 바탕으로한 미적의식의 산물이며, 오늘날에 이르는 정신적 교량물로서 인간의 본능인 조형의식이 표출된 조형물이라 할 수 있겠다. 추상형식과 자유로움으로 부작에 나타난 문양의 구성은, 오늘날의 현대적인 감각과 취향에도 부합시킬수 있는 충분한 가능성을 지녔음에도, 주술적 종교적 편견으로 다른 전통문양에 비해 조형적연구가 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구는, 부작에 나타난 문양이 조형적으로 재인식되어지기 위해, 우선 구조적, 조형적분석을 통한 접근을 시도하여 문양이 어떻게 표출되어졌는가 하는 문제를 제시하고, 재구성함으로써 이를 통하여 전통문양으로서의 새로운 가능성을 부각시켜 보고자 하였다. 목적을 효과적으로 표현하기 위해 소재는 대상의 재현에 근접하고자 하였으며, 한국적사상의 매개와 서구적인 꼴라쥬(collage) 기법의 혼합으로, 다양한 방법을 모색해 봄으로써 제작기법의 확대를 꾀하고자 하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 작품제작을 하면서 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째로, 기층문화와 미의식을 파악할 수 있는 문양연구의 원천자료로서의 조형적가치의 발견과 확인. 둘째로, 전통문양으로 공예품에 활용된 예를 통한 문양의 현대적 활용가능성인식 세째로, 장식적, 표현적측면에 응용할 수 있는 무한한 가능성발견 네째로, 제작기법의 확대로 인한 소재와 방법의 개발필요성이다. 이러한 문양을 응용하여 재구성하고 개발하여 활용하려는 노력은 전통미의 계승발전을 위해 계속되어져야하며, 주변에 있는 전통적소재를 재발견하고 생활속에 결합시켜 구성하는 일은,결국 우리의 실체를 찾는 작업의 시작이 될 수 있기 때문이다. 작품제작시의 종이작업과 표현방법은 염색공예에 있어서 가능성을 찾고자 의도를 표현하는 수단으로 사용되었으나, 종이작업에 대한 염료의 발색정도·흡인력등 접근방식에 있어서의 연구미비로 표현소재의 확대를 위한 최소한의 도구로 역할을 하지못한, 단순차원의 종이작업이 되었다는 점에서 아쉬움이 남는다. 이 연구를 계기로, 이 방면에 있어서 철저한 연구와 분석이 되어지기 위한 기초라 생각하고, 끊임없는 탐구자세와 창조적인 연구 자세로서 작업에 임해 나갈 것이다.;Regardless of the past and the present times, a valuable feeling called one of five fortunes of agricultural society, such as wealth and fame and good fortune blessed with longevity which man has most ordinarily wished, can be said that it comes from religious wish of daily and essential praying good fortune and preventing misfortune. This religious wish is expressed a form of Bujak reflected emotion of Life and living consciousness directly as a representation of the civil-religious symbolization. When the character of traditional arts depend on how much contains nature of living of the People faithfully Bujak has proved to be connected directly with the origin of Korean traditional arts, one of the traditional arts cultural inheritances having an old history, as a result of emotion of life and a valuable feeling holding in common with a people. Bujak is finally a product of aesthetic consciousness baed on widely popularized and became civil religion, and can be said that it is a moulding article expressed by moulding consciousness, human nature, as spiritual medium of these days. Constitution of patterns showed by Bujak with abstract form and freedom has sufficient possibilities to correspond with modern senses and tastes of today, but religious prejudice has made moulding research insufficient comparing to other traditional patterns. In this research, the pattern of Bujak, to be newly recognized by moudling vision, attempts to approach through structural and moulding analysis first of all and suggests a matter how the pattern was expressed. And I have tried to express a new Possibility as a traditional pattern through it. For the effective expression of this aim, Bujak pattern, the material has planed to approach close reappearance of an object, and with a mixture of Korean ideal medium and western collage, I have expected a enlargement of way of making using various ways. In this process, I have concluded on making a product as follows : First, discovery and identification of moulding valve as an original materials of pattern research to be able to grasp a Lower layer culture and a beauty consciousness. Second, recognition of modern possibilities of application of pattern applied an industrial product as a traditional pattern. Third, discovery of limitless possibility which is able to adapt for decorative and expressive aspects . Fourth, necessity of the development of materials and ways by enlargement of way of making. This endeavour, which adapts the pattern to reconstitute and develops it to utilize, should go on for the succession and the development of a traditional beauty, and the things that rediscover a traditional material around us and constitute and unite it with living are finally able to become the beginning of grasping our substances. While making work, a paper work and way of expression are used by the means of expressing an intention, trying to find a possibility of dyeing industry. But insufficient research to way of approach, such as the colour emanating degree of pigment and the absorption forces on a paper work, remains regrettble on the point that it did not become the least role of means for the enlargement of expression material, but a paper work of the simple dimension. Taking this opportunity of research, I will treat this wor with restless research attitude and creative study attitude, thinking this research to be the basis for thorough study and anaLysis in this directions.
