오리엔탈리즘 복식디자인 연구

Abstract

고대 실크로드지역의 문양과 현대 복식의 오리엔탈리즘은 국제적인 보편성과 독자적인 특수성이 융합된 동·서양 문화의 총체화란 측면에서 그 의의가 있다. 장식예술의 문화사적 연구를 통해 새로운 디자인 모티브를 얻어 시시각각 다변하고 있는 현대 패션계에 다양하고 독창적인 복식 디자인 개발 가능성을 제시해 줄 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현대 패션의 큰 주류로 등장한 오리엔탈리즘을 분석하고 동·서양 냉전체제 종식이후 중앙아시아 실크로드에 세계 학자와 예술가들의 관심이 고조됨에 착안하여 고대 실크로드 지역의 장식예술중 문양부분을 살펴보았다. 그에 따라 고대 실크로드지역의 문양을 현대 복식에 도입함으로써 오리엔탈리즘을 표현하여 5점의 작품과 3점의 일러스트레이션을 제작 하였다. 작품제작을 통해 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문화의 총체화란 측면에서 동·서양의 이질적 정서가 복식에 도입되어 보다 국제적인 예술성이 가미된 디자인을 할 수 있었다. 둘째, 현대 복식디자인에 문양 변형을 통한 오리엔탈리즘의 시도는 새롭고 독창적인 디자인 개발 가능성을 제시해주었다. 세째, 오리엔탈리즘의 색상 및 장식 이미지표현 방법으로 강렬한 원색 소재의 사용과 아플리케, 진주, 비이즈 스팡글의 장식트리밍이 유용하였다.;A view point of cultural whole is meaning which study of ancient silkroad pattern and orientalism as fashion design. That presents new and creative fashion design, through study of history about decorative art. This study researches for remarkable orientalism in contemporary fashion trend. Moreover, I gain design motive from ancient silkroad pattern. It is interests for worldly scholar and artist are concern with silkroad area after coldwar So, in this study, total eight pieces of clothing design which applied fashion design of orientalism. It produce the woman's garment of using pearls, beads on applique´ and paint the fashion illustration. The result of this study through the production of these works are as follows : First, such work gains the possibility of development which creative oriental fashion design from deformation of ancient silkroad pattern. Second, that is important thing, cultural whole by harmonize east and west exotic tests. Third, It's very useful as presentation method of orientalism image which using vivid colour cloth and decorative trim as pearls, beads, spangle on applique.
