자연의 형상을 응용한 의상디자인

Abstract

The human who has had a close relationship with nature has been influenced from it and has also observed and expressed it in its continuous change and harmony. So nature has been a material for a creative activity of human who has searched for the beauty and the artists have expressed the image as a form by experiencing it throush the observation of nature. There is no exception to the fashion design in this phenomena. Most dessigners have done their best continuously to find out the value of new and diversified formative arts through their works by adapting the natural phenomena. Accordingly, the author selected the sun-flower among he objectives of nature as a material and recomposed its form and reflected it on the fashion design. Through this study, the author wants to contribute to the fashion design as a formative arts and the development of expression method and style in it. For this objective, the author studied theoretically for the relationship of nature and art, the objecctives of nature, and the formative method of image observed. And the author has researched for the expression material, form, color, and etc. before working and made the works based on these experiences. The working showed the atmosphere of four illustrations and five actual worlks. And the author got the results as follows; 1. The value of nature as a formative component is eternal and nature is regarded as a perpetual art and new world is created when the objective of nature is recomposed and expressed by the characteristic intuition. 2. The author thinks the sun-flower selected for the expression through the process of recomposition of the antuural form according to the author's subjective experiences for the beauty was a good objective to make the fashion design as one of the formative arts. 3. In the process of works, the author felt inconvinient to the insufficient understanding of the materials, the difficulty in sewing for an artificial expression of form and the uniformity of color distribution in the same color selection The problem which are shown in the process of works will be supplemented by the experimental study and the author has a powerful desire to create some superior works based on this experiennce.;자연과의 밀접한 관계를 이루고 있는 인간은 자연의 끊임없는 변화와 조화의 섭리안에서 그 삶을 유지하고 있으며 계속적인 관찰과 표현의 대상도 자연이었다. 그러므로 자연의 형상은 아름다움을 추구하려는 인간의 조형적 창작활동의 소재가 되고 예술가들은 자연의 관찰을 통해 체험한 이미지를 하나의 조형물로 표현하여 왔다. 이러한 현상은 의상에 있어서도 예외는 아니어서, 많은 디자이너들이 자연의 형상을 응용한 의상작품을 발표함으로써 새롭고 다양한 조형예술로서의 가치추구를 위한 노력을 해왔다. 따라서, 본 연구자는 자연의 관찰을 통해 얻어진 형상 가운데 해바라기꽃을 소재로 선정하여 형태의 변형을 통해 의상에 반영함으로써 의상의 조형예술로서의 추구와 표현기법의 개발에 작은 도움이 되고자 한다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 자연과 조형과의 관계, 자연의 관찰 및 관찰된 형태의 변형에 대한 이론적 고찰을 해보고 작품제작에 앞서 표현소재 및 형태와 색채 등을 연구하여 이를 근거로 작품을 제작하였다. 작품의 총수는 실물제작 5점과 4점의 일러스트레이션이다. 실물작품은 「해바라기」꽃을 그 모티브로 선정하고, 거친 느낌의 마직섬유와 광택이 있는 합성섬유, 가죽, 로우프, 가아제, 한지 등의 다양한 소재로 만들어 보았다. 작품의 제작은 기능을 위주로 한 의상의 분야에서 벗어나 조형성을 강조하고, 작품의 성격에 따라 다양한 표현방법으로 입체적인 효과를 나타내고자 하였으며, 기타 4점의 일러스트레이션을 통해 보다 상징화시킨 「해바라기」꽃의 이미지를 표현함으로써 내적인 생명력을 가진 새로운 차의 의상을 디자인 하였다.
