幼兒의 自然學習指導에 관한 硏究

Abstract

본 연구는 학령전 아동에게 모든 사물 (事物)이나 사상 (事象)에 대하여 과학적인 태도와 사고력과 같은 인지 능력을 길러 주기 위해 가장 큰 역할을 하는 자연 과학 영역에 관한 것이다. 본 연구의 연구 과제는 구체적으로 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자연 과학 교육의 중요성 및 목표는 무엇인가 둘째, 자연 과학 교육을 중심으로한 유아의 발달 특성은 무엇인가 셋째, 바람직한 자연 과학 교육의 내용, 방법 및 교사의 자질은 무엇인가 에 대한 것을 문헌 연구로 하였으며, 현재 우리나라 유치원의 자연 과학 교육의 현황과 문제점을 파악하기 위해 서울 시내 유치원과 유치원 교사를 대상으로 질문지, 면담, 참관을 통하여 현재 실시하고 있는 자연 과학 교육의 내용 및 방법, 시설, 교사의 자질 및 관심도에 대하여 조사하였다. 현재 유치원의 실태를 조사 분석한 결과, 유아를 위한 자연 과학 교육의 개선을 위하여 다음의 사항들이 지적된다. 1. 자연 과학에 대한 교사 자신의 지식의 한계 2. 자연 과학 교육을 위한 시설 및 연구 서적과 참고자료의 부족 3. 자연 과학 교육 과정의 체계화의 필요 4. 유치원 교사를 위한 교육 과정의 개선의 필요 위의 지적된 사항들에 대하여 개선 방안으로 우선 유아를 교육 하는 교사의 자질 향상이 요청된다고 할 수 있겠다. 교사의 자질 향상에 따라 교육 방법, 시설, 내용등을 개선하고 유아의 환경과 성장발달에 보다 적합한 자연 학습이 이루어지기를 기대함이 바람직 할 것이다.;This study is connected with the sphere of natural science which has played a key role in cultivating the recognizing ability like scientific attitudes and thinking power toward every objects and ideas to pre-school child. The object of this study is as follows; First ; What's the importance and aim of natural science education? Second; What's the infant's developing character that natural science education has centered around? Third ; What are the contents, means and teacher's quality of natural science education? To seize the present conditions and problems of natural science education of our country's present kindergarten, we inspected the contents, means, facilities, teachers' quality and degree of concern of natural science education which had been operating with kindergarten and kindergarten teachers in Seoul through written inquiries, interviews and visits. As a result of investigation and analysis, it demands as following items to improve natural science education of our present Kindergarten; 1st ; the limit of the teacher's own knowledge toward natural science 2nd ; the scacity of facilities, research books and reference data for natural science education. 3rd ; the necessity of the system of the process of natural science education 4th ; the necessity of improvement of educational process for kindergarten.
