꽃의 단순화를 위한 연구

Abstract

The man is born in nature and return to nature. That is to say, the man identify their own existense and life in the natural environment and the impulse and the concern about nature have been the mothers womb to do the artistic activity. It is essential to observe and imitate nature in the moulding arts. And even if in modern times, the creative world in line with each artist has been expressed with persuing new moulding character and suitable materials. Also in the industrial arts, there are some wok activities to express their own image through the several techniques and angles of view so as to seek after the value of the moulding arts, according to artist's subject and esthetic sense. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to persue the moulding character in the process of expressing the materials of grouping flowers among the materials in nature as a simplified line and face. For understanding this purpose, the theoretical backgroundings on nature and art are examined in Chapter Ⅱ, the materials of expression, the observation of expression, the type of expression and the techniques of expression are inquired through the production of works, and as following conclusions have been drawn with each work's analysis. At first, the beautiful arts has been originated on account of nature's influencing upon man in the study of nature and art. i.e. nature is to be a mother's womb of the arts. Also the view of moulding and the technique of expression in the arts are differentiated in accordance with the different view of angle of each era. Second, as what one says "Art is expression", the expression of art is not just the depiction of objects but the expression by his own subject. Based on this, it is informed that new esthetic impression can be touched, dissimilar to the felling in simple depiction of objects through simplifying the transformation of nature and reconstitution it in moulding charater. Third, the flower is the object that can be look into further that it's beauty can coincide with man and it made an offer the chance of thinking nature twice. And no matter how there were some difficulties to understand the characteristics of the fabric and the dyes and to express them, the only peculiar techniques and the possibilities of expressing the shape in dyeing could be abstracted. But persuing the moulding character in the expression of technique turned out to be a monotonous expression and I have a feeling that the objects are simplified accounting for using the beeswax in two stages. Consequently, there need to be a ceaseless study and efforts so as to strengthen solving the problems.;인간은 자연에서 태어나서 자연으로 돌아간다. 즉 자연의 환경속에서 인간은 자신의 존재와 생명을 확인하고, 또 자연에 대한 관심과 충동은 예술적 활동의 모태가 되어왔다. 조형예술에 있어서 자연의 관찰과 모방의 관념은 필연적인 것이나 현대에서는 작가에 따라 알맞은 소재와 새로운 조형성을 추구하면서 창조적 세계를 표현하고 있다. 염색공예 역시 작가의 주관과 미의식에 따라 조형예술로서의 가치 추구를 위한 작품활동이 여러가지 시각과 기법으로 자신의 이미지를 표현하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구자는 자연중에서 특히 무리를 이루고 있는 꽃의 생태를 소재로 하여 선과 면으로 단순화한 표현과정에서 조형성을 추구하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 Ⅱ장 이론적 배경에서는 자연과 예술에 대하여 고찰하고 Ⅲ장의 작품제작에서는 표현소재, 표현관찰, 표현형태, 표현기법에 대하여 연구하고 작품마다 분석을 통해 나타난 결과를 재조명하여 보는 가운데서 같은 결론에 도달하였다. 첫째, 자연과 예술의 연구에서 자연이 인간에게 끼치는 영향으로 인하여 아름다운 예술이 탄생하고 즉 자연은 예술의 모태가 되었으며 또한 예술은 각시대마다 보는 시각이 달라지므로써 조형관과 표현기법이 달리 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 대상의 표현에서는 "예술은 표현이다"라는 말처럼 대상의 묘사가 아니라 주관에 의해 표현한다는 과정을 통해 본 연구자는 자연을 대상으로 단순화의 방향으로 변형시켜 조형적 재구성을 함으로써 대상의 단순묘사에서 느끼는 감상과는 달리 새로운 미적감동을 줄 수 있음을 알게 되었다. 셋째, 꽃을 소재로 하여 자연에 대해 더 한번 인식하고 꽃의 아름다움이 인간의 마음과 일치할 수 있다는 것을 재인식 할 수 있게 되었다. 한편 염료와 섬유의 특성파악이나 표현상의 어려움은 있었으나 염색만이 지닐 수 있는 독특한 기법과 형태의 표현가능성을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 표현기법에 있어서 조형성 추구를 모색하다 보니 단조로운 표현이 되었으며 밀납의 두 단계 이용으로 인하여 대상의 단순한 느낌이 들었다. 그러므로 이러한 문제점 보강을 위해 끊임없는 연구와 노력이 지속되어야 함을 실감했다.
