중학교 미술과 학습환경 현황에 관한 연구

Abstract

미술과 학습의 보편적이고 기본적인 조형 활동을 통해 학습의 효율을 높이고 교과목표의 달성을 위하여 시설과 교구의 활용이 필요하나, 실제 교육현장에서는 이들 시설과 교구의 부족으로 정상적인 교과운영이 어렵다는데에서 문제가 제기된다. 본 연구의 목적은 중학교 미술과 학습환경을 미술실 및 교구를 중심으로 서울과 부산의 현황을 비교하고, 그에 따른 학습운영 상황을 조사하여 중학교 미술과 학습환경 개선에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 연구의 기본도구는 문헌과 질문지이고 서울과 부산의 중학교 미술교사 176명과 학생 800명을 대상으로 하였다. 조사결과는 백분율로 통계 처리하여 반응을 비교하였는데 그 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 1. 미술실 및 교구 현황 미술교과에 필요한 시설 및 교구의 전체 보유율은 문교부 시설기준령에 현저히 미달되며, 보유상태도 부실하여 실제 수업에 이용하기 어려운 것이 많으며 지역별로는 서울보다 부산의 현황이 더 부족하다. 2. 미술교과 운영 1학년과 2학년은 실기위주의 수업을, 3학년은 입시준비를 위한 이론위주의 수업을 하고 있으나 실기수업의 경우 문교부 시설 기준령에 비해 미술실과 교구의 구비와 보유상태가 부실하여 교과 운영상 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 실제로 대부분의 학생들은 보통교실에서 미술수업을 주로 받고 있으며, 미술실과 교구의 부족때문에 수업이 불편하다고 느끼고 있다. 이 같은 문제들을 해소하기 위해서는 제반 교육환경의 개선과 문교부 시설 기준령에 미달되는 교구의 확보가 시급한데 교사와 학생들의 노력 뿐 아니라 당국의 적극적인 배려가 요구된다.;The use of facilities and teaching tools is indispensable for the high efficiency of Learning and getting to the course aims through the general and basic formative activities of Fine Arts learning. However there brings up a problem it is difficult to manage the normal classes for want of facilities and teaching tools. The purpose of this study was to compare the present Fine Arts learning conditions of middle school in Seoul with those in Pusan centering around art rooms and teaching tools, and to suggest the basic materials for the improvement of Fine Arts learning of middle school with the survey of Fine Arts learning working situation. The basic means of study was literatures and questionnaires. And the subject was 176 art teachers and 800 students of the middle schools both in Seoul and in Pusan. The findings were taken statistics on percentage, the responses compared. Summing up, this comes to the following result. 1. The present conditions of art rooms and teaching tools. The total holding rate of facilities and teaching tools for Fine Arts-learning is considerably short of the standard facility rule of the Ministry of Education. There are also many things not to be used in real classes with the empty holding conditions. Moreover as for region, the present condition of Pusan is more deficit than in Seoul. 2. The management of Fine Arts In the first and second grade, practical talent is the first consideration in classes, on the other hand in the third grade theories to prepare for an entrance examination. But in the case of practical talent classes, there is much difficulty in managing the course of Fine Arts normally because of the wanting holding condition of art rooms and tools, compared with the standard facility rule of the Ministry of Education. In fact most students usually have art classes in the ordinary classroom, and suffer inconvenience during classes for want of art rooms and teaching tools Consequently, to clear up these kinds of problems, the improvement of all educational environments and the security of teaching tools wanting have to be settled urgently. For this, the positive consideration of the authorities concerned as well as teachers and students efforts is needed.
