染色에 의한 自然景觀에 관한 연구

Abstract

The continuous will of an artist to form a picture tries to express with infinite formative factors, from the image which was extracted from nature and aesthetic experience, in the law and order of nature. The objective of this study is to search a possibility of aesthetic expression through paraffin coloring of dying and a method of original presentation by transformation and recreation according to this researcher's subjectivity in the process of representation of the landscape's image among a natural view. I studied about the observation and expression of a nature and comparison between east and west in the method of expression of a nature as a theoretical background for a production of the artistic work. And I researched into expression media for the study about an expression of a natural view and the formative presentation of a dying. I produced six pieces of art and analize them and concluded as follows. First, formative art is the work of inquring into and modifying a form. In the modifying process, researcher's individual attempt about the trial and error and newness is guessed to be continued but I found that creation of this form is produced by researcher's interior world and subjectivity and is tried through the various expression methods. Second, In the production of a work of art, the characteristics of materials using in an individual field should be considered sufficiently. It is inconvenient not to use a silk with more rough quality in the selection of materials because there is a possibility of getting a better effect of a work with this. Third, In Paraffin coloring, it is possible to express simply and concisely but there is a difficulty in the detail handling. I found that through the experiences from expression process another image can be produced. Insuffient point found in the all process of a production and study will be considered as the new guide of close application about future activity of a creation and I will make an effort to produce deeper and artistic dying work by a continuous attempt about the function and techniques of Batik Design.;인간은 조형의지를 통해 무한한 창의력을 발휘해왔다. 自然의 秩序와 規則 속에서 造形要素를 抽出하여 自然景觀에서의 이미지(image)와 美的體驗을 표현하여 온 것이다. 본 연구는, 自然景觀의 이미지(image)를 표현하는 과정에서 작가 자신의 主觀에 의하여 변형 재창조하며 美的 표현의 가능성과 독자적인 표현방법의 모색에 目的을 둔다. 작품제작을 위한 이론적 배경으로 자연의 관찰, 자연의 표현에 대하여 東·西洋을 비교 고찰하고, 染色의 造形的 표현을 위하여 표현 매체에 관해 연구함으로써 실제작품 6점을 제작, 분석을 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 1. 造形예술이란 형태를 추구하고 변형해 가는 창조적 작업을 말한다. 작가는 변형과정에 있어서 나름대로의 시행착오와 새로움에 대한 시도를 계속하고 있지만 이러한 형태의 창조는 작가의 내면세계와 주관에 의해 형성되며 다양한 표현방법을 통하여 시도되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 2. 작품을 제작함에 있어서, 그 분야가 갖는 재료의 특성을 충분히 살릴 수 있어야 한다. 3. 파라핀 방염법은 단순하고 간결한 표현이 가능하였으나, 세부적인 처리에 있어 파라핀 방염법이 주는 까다로움이 있었으며, 표현과정에서의 체험은 또 다른 이미지를 유발할 수 있음을 알았다. 모든 제작과정과 연구과정에서의 미흡한 점들은 앞으로의 창작활동에 임함에 있어 연구정진의 새로운 계기로 삼을 것이며 아울러 염색공예의 기능성 및 기법에 대한 계속적인 시도를 추구함으로써 좀더 깊이있고 예술성 있는 염색작품이 되도록 노력할 것이다.
