자연의 형상화에 관한 연구

Abstract

The trend of modern arts tends to pursue various styles of expression on the basis of subjectivism, opulent material, and alternative methods, by escaping the traditional formalism on the tide of diversification of conceptions and mouldings. Recently, the artists' points of view on nature have been changed, and they deny the re-formation of nature. However, the impressions which nature gives us have been used as a matrix of supreb artistic expressions, and human beings are a part of nature that gave birth to us. Hence, I tried to seek the study of the Subjective Figuration of Nature out of a part of nature objectives, so that I set out to aesthetically sublimate the primitive image of nature through creating works by dyeing. As theoretical foundation for the study, I have inquired into spatial expression and modification of nature, art, and terrain features, then have studied space modification which is to be expressed by way of observation and re-formation of nature objectives. The conclusion that I acquired from work on the basis of this theoretical foundation can be summarized as follows; First, nature has been the object that gave us the incitement to express it in various manners according to our will to modify and the consciousness of beauty. As for me, the researcher, nature was an appropriate material in transforming it into a visual image through an intuitional aesthetic experience. Second, the fluidity, which was from terrain features chosen in the process of creation, has formativeness. The order of nature and the rhythmic factor in it have been used as appropriate factors for a formative work. Third, expression by a sprayer could create various moods due to its methodological characteristic. The possibility of expressing in nature objectives was effective in stating quality, fluidity, and space. I will endeavour to create higher level formative arts, overcoming the limitations that I faced in my reserch. For example, regret for want of larger sensuous expression and insufficient research from the lack of materials in the process of creating, and monotony resulting from the combination of the same colors.;현대 예술의 경향은 그 개념이나 조형성이 확산 다변화되면서 종래의 형식에서 벗어나 주관적 이론, 자유로운 재료 및 방법등을 근거로 다양한 표현양식이 추구되고 있다. 근래에 자연을 대하는 예술가들의 시작도 변해왔으며 자연의 재현을 부정하게 되었다. 그러나 인간은 자연에서 생겨난 자연의 일부분이며 인간에게 있어서 자연이 주는 감동은 고귀한 예술적 표현의 모체가 되어 왔다. 따라서 본 연구자는 자연의 형상화에 관한 연구를 자연대상의 한 부분에서 찾아 자연의 원초적인 이미지를 염색의 작품제작을 통하여 미적으로 승화시키려는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위한 이론적 배경으로는 자연과 예술, 지형의 공간적 표현및 변형에 대해 고찰해 보고 작품제작을 위한 자연의 표현 소재의 고찰과 소재의 변형을 통해 표현될 공간의 형성을 알아 본다. 이러한 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 작품제작을 통해 얻은 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자연은 인간의 조형의지와 미의식에 따라 여러가지 방법으로 늘 표현하고자 하는 충동을 유발시키는 대상이 되어 왔다. 본 연구자 역시 자연이 직관적인 미적체험을 통하여 시각적 이미지로 전재하는데 적절한 소재였다. 둘째, 제작과정에서 표현대상으로 선택한 지형에서 오는 유동성은 보는 관점에 따라 조형성을 지니고 있으며 그 속에 내재된 자연의 질서와 율동적요소는 조형적 작품의 적절한 요소가 되었다. 세째, 분무염에 의한 표현은 그 방법적인 특성으로 해서 다양한 분위기를 표출할 수 있었고, 자연대상에 나타나는 표현가능성은 재질감과 유동성, 공간성 표현에 효과적이었다. 작품의 제작과정에서 소재에 대한 충분한 연구와 폭넓은 감각적인 세계를 표현하지 못한대 대한 아쉬움과 동일색조의 배색에서 오는 단조로움을 느꼈으나, 앞으로 계속적인 연구를 통해 문제점을 해결하고 차원높은 염색공예의 창조에 더욱 노력하고자 한다.
