Abstract
놀이는 幼兒에게 가장 좋은 學習方法이며, 幼兒의 成長·發達에 本質的인 의의를 가지는 重要한 敎育課程이다. 幼兒는 이 놀이를 통하여 潛在的인 可能性을 개발하고, 身體的, 社會的, 情緖的, 知的 發達을 可能하게 한다. 이 重要한 놀이 活動에 幼兒를 적극적으로 參與하게 하는 要因으로써 어머니의 性格을 중점으로 하였다. 그 理由는 어머니와 幼兒와의 關係는 가장 基本的이고 영구적인 關係이며, 어머니를 同一視함으로써 幼兒는 性格 發達에 심대한 影響을 받기 때문이다. 그러므로 本 硏究에서는 어머니의 性格과 幼兒의 놀이活動 參與度와의 關係를 그림그리기, 劇놀이, 모래놀이, 대근육놀이에서의 관찰을 통하여 살펴 보았다. 각 놀이에서의 관찰척도는 적극적 參與, 普通, 小極的 參與, 不參與의 4평정척도가 사용되었고, 어머니의 性格要因은 支配性, 社會性, 責任性, 情緖的 安定性의 上·中·下 要因으로 分類하였다. 資料處理는 百分奉에 의하였으며, 5%水準에서 유의도 검증 (χ^(2)검증)에 의하여 關係를 分析하였다. 結果, 그림그리기에 있어서 幼兒를 가장 적극적 參與를 하게 한 어머니의 性格은 높은 責任性이고, 극놀이에서는 어머니의 높은 杜會性, 모래놀이에서는 어머니의 높은 支配性, 대근육놀이에서는 어머니의 높은 支配性과 높은 責任性으로 나타났다.;Playing is the best learning method to the child and also the important educational process which has essential significance to the child's growth and development. The child develops the potential possibility through Playing, by which physical, social, emotional and intellectual development can be made. Mother's character is thought as a factor which make the child participate actively in this important play. The importance of mother's character is that the relation of mother to the child is the most essential and perpetual one and the child is greatly impressed by mother's good example to the development of his character. This study pursued the relation of mother's character to the participation frequency of child's play activity though the observation of his drawing, drama-play, sand-play and large muscle-play. The measure of observation in each play was divided into positive, average, negative and non-participation. The elements of mother's character were classified as domination, sociality, responsibility and emotional stability, and were grouped as good, fair and poor. Percentage was used in dealing with material analysis. The test below 5% relationship was also analyzed by a χ^(2) test. The results of the study are as follows. The character of mother who made her child positively participate in the play is shown high responsibility and we can see mother's high sociality in the child who participated in drama-Play, and high domination in sand-play and high domination and responsibility in large muscle-play.
