Nouveau Realisme 조각의 고찰

Abstract

科學과 技術의 발달과 병행해서 현대미순은 궁극적인 Reality의 정체를 파악하는 노력에 헌신하고 있다. 본 연구는 현실의 직접적인 제시로서 현대의 자연을 표현하고자 했던 Nouveau Realisme 조각작품의 분석을 통해 현대미술의 경향을 이해하는데 도움이 되고자 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 Nouveau Realisme 조각에 표현된 조형적 특성을 분석함에 있다. 본 연구의 내용은 Nouveau Realisme 조각의 형성을 고찰하고 Nouveau Realisme 조각에 있어서의 조형성을, 대표되는 작가와 작품을 대상으로 조형적 효과를 분석하였다. 연구의 방법에서는 문헌과 작품을 기본자료로 문헌은 이론배경을 중심으로 하였고, 작품은 Nouveau Realisme의 대표작가 4명의 작품을 각각 20점씩 총 80점을 목적표출하여 그 작품의 형태이념과 조형적 특성을 분석하였다. 연구의 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 1. 일상적인 objet를 작품으로 구성해서 도시사회의 현실을 새로운 자연으로 받아들였다. 2. 철저하게 계획된 정확성 보다는 작가의 의도아래 이루어진 우연의 효과로 새로운 조형성을 얻게 되었다. 3. 일상의 물건은 그 자체가 추상적인 형태와 색채를 지니고 있기 때문에 일상의 물건으로 이루어진 Nouveau Realisme 조각작품은 추상성을 내포한다. 4. 관객이 작품제작에 일원이 됨으로써 작품과 관객과의 지리를 좁혔다. 결국 Nouveau Realisme의 조각은 Objet의 일상성, 우연성, 추상성, 관객참여유도의 특성을 가지고 있으며 이러한 특성은 Nouveau Realisme 작가의 작품속에 복합적으로 나타나고 있다.;Modern art that keeps pace with science and the development of technology is devoted to trying to grasp the real form of ultimate reality. This thesis, as a direct presentation of reality, and through the analysis of Nouveau-realisme sculpture that tries to express modern nature, is to help the readers in understanding the tendency of modern art. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the visual chracteristics which are expressed in the Nouveau-realisme sculpture. The contents of this thesis are the investigation of Nouveau-realisme sculpture's formation, and the analysis of the visual effect by the artist who represents the plastic arts and his work of art as the subjects. In regarding the methodology, the document and the work of art are considered as the basic materials. The document centers on the theoretical backgrounds, where as a total of eighty works-twenty works by each artist-are selected as the objects in the work of art, and their theory of forms and visual characteristic are analyzed. The consequences of this thesis collectively are as follows Firstly, by constructing a work of art as a momemtary object, the reality of socialized city was accepted as the new nature. Secondly, by the casual effect that is achieved under the artist's intention, the new plastic arts is acquired rather than the thoroughly planned accuracy. Thirdly, as things of daily necessity have abstract forms and colors due to the development of industrial design, the Nouveau-realisme sculpture involves abstraction. Lastly, as the spectator becomes one of the members in the production of the work of art, the distance between the work of art and the spectator is shortened. Ultimately, the Nouveau-realisme sculpture has the characteristics of ordinariness, contingency, abstraction of objects, and the induction of the spectators' participation. All these characteristics appear in the Nouveau-realisme artists and in their works in mixed forms.
