행태 지원성을 강화한 도시공원 디자인 모형사례 연구

Abstract

세계를 통합된 전체로 인식하는 새로운 패러다임은 살아 있는 유기체를 전체로 보는 것으로 모든 생명의 일체성, 인간과 환경의 상호작용 속에서 상호의존성을 주장한다. 이는 세계를 부분들의 집합으로 보기 보다 통합된 시스템으로 보는 전일적 세계관, 시스템식 패러다임으로 설명된다. 유기체와 환경 또한 서로 분리할 수 없는 전체로 형성되었으며 유기체는 환경 없이, 환경은 유기체 없이 존재할 수 없는 불가분의 관계로 설명된다. 이는 인간과 환경과의 연구에도 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 이와 같은 맥락에서 도시환경은 자연. 인공, 사회적 환경과 사람의 관계를 파악하는 총체적인 시스템으로 인식해야 한다. 도시환경이 사람에게 어떤 영향을 미치고, 사람의 행동이 환경에 어떤 작용을 하는가에 대한 상호관계성을 파악해야 하는 것이다. 오늘날 도시환경은 급속한 도시화로 인구가 급증하고 편중되면서 자연생태계의 균형이 깨지고 교통의 혼란과 대기의 오염, 토지의 부족에서 오는 녹지의 부족 등으로 미적, 환경적 측면에서 볼 때 점차 황폐화 되어가고 있다. 도시가 확장되고 인구가 편중되면서 환경과 인간이 조화되지 못한 채 공존하고 있으며. 이에 따른 인간 삶의 질적 저하는 심각한 수준에까지 이르게 된 것이다. 따라서 인간과 환경의 관계를 총체적인 관점에 의한 유기체적 시스템으로 이해하여 인간 삶의 질을 높일 수 있는 방안을 모색해 볼 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 도시환경의 질적 수준의 보다 합리적인 향상을 위해서 환경과 인간행태의 관계성을 분석하고 행태의 주체인 인간과 그 장인 환경을 새롭게 인식하는 행태지원성을 규범적인 접근방법으로 삼고자 한다. 이를 바탕으로 지원성 강화를 위한 디자인 과정을 통하여 실증적 사례연구를 제시하고자 한다. 이러한 도시환경 디자인 방법으로 행태 지원성을 갖는 환경은 이용자에게 행위가능성을 제공하여 행태유발을 시킬 수 있는 개연적 가능성을 내포하게 되는 것이다. 본 연구는 인간행태를 과거의 선형적, 기계론적 사고의 행동주의적 시각에서 벗어나 전체적이고 상호작용의 맥락에서 해석하고자 한다. 즉 행태분석을 통한 자료를 바탕으로 사용자 중심의 상호작용을 보다 긍정적이고 활성화하고자 하는 것이다. 인간에 의해 선호될 가능성이 있는 환경적 질을 파악하여 선호도가 높으면서도 그 물리적 요소와 인간행태, 즉 반응의 패턴이 적정한 수준의 만족도를 유지할 수 있는 환경적 행태적 장을 조성하고자 한다. 본 연구의 내용은 다음과 같다. 1. 연구의 문제제기 및 연구방법, 연구범위 및 방법을 밝힌다. 2. 도시공원 환경디자인의 이론적 배경으로서 행태과학을 고찰해 보고, 인간과 환경의 상호작용으로서 행태지원성의 적용필요성에 대하여 살펴본다. 3. 도시환경으로서 도시공원을 새로운 관점에서 고찰해보고, 사례조사를 통한 현황 및 문제점을 분석하여 개선방향을 제시한다. 4. 도시공원에서 유발되는 인간행태를 살펴보고, 공원디자인의 이론적 고찰과 적용사례를 통한 요구사항들을 분석하여 디자인 문제해결을 위한 근거로 삼는다. 5. 위의 모든 과정을 통하여 행태지원성 강화를 위한 환경디자인의 이론적 틀을 마련하여 공간을 프로그래밍하고 구체화한다. 6. 본 연구 내용에 관한 요약과 논의를 하며. 연구의 기대효과 및 공헌도를 제시한다. 위와 같은 연구과정을 통하여 행태적 접근을 통해 인간과 환경이 상호보완적이고 유기적인 관계임을 밝혀, 인간행태가 유발될 수 있는 디자인을 제시한다. 이로써 도시환경은 비로소 의미를 지니게 될 것이며. 인간의 다양한 필요에 부응하는 정보를 반영함으로서 더욱 가치 있는 도시환경이 만들어 질 것이다. 도시환경의 질적 수준을 향상시켜야 함을 인식하고 그 방법을 제시함에 본 연구의 의의를 둔다.;I would like to present the unity of all the creatures and the interdependence of the interactions between man and his environment by suggesting the new paradigm to solve the environmental and ecological problems and looking at all the living organisms as a whole. This approach can be described as the holistic view of the world or the systematic paradigm that regards the world as an integrated system rather than the mixture of the parts. Organisms and the environment are combined together inseparably. They cannot exist without each other. That is, it's inseparable relations in which organisms cannot go on without the environment, and vice versa. This kid of relation places itself importance in the study of man and his environment. From a systematic viewpoint, the urban environment is a stimulus that affects people, who in turn respond to it. The environment created and accumulated in the process of stimuli and responses is perceived as a culture. The urban environment perceived as a culture provides a public space where physical elements are connected together. Today's urban environment, however, is on the right track to devastation; the rapid urbanization and increasing population has left the city overpopulated ; the balance of the natural ecosystem has been broken: the confusing traffic and air pollution are getting worse: and lacking lands leads to lacking green areas. In short, a modern city is being ruined in the aesthetic and environmental aspect. As the city expands and increases in density, it's harder for it to function as a public space and the citizens are suffering from degrading living standards. All these have raised the need for a space where people can enjoy emotional and psychological relaxation. In order to upgrade the quality level of an urban environment in a more rational way, it's necessary to create a user-oriented space that identifies the human nature from the human-focused viewpoint. The efforts for that are significant in that it can help to enhance the quality level of the visual environment for the sake of the users and that it can provide the base for a design to predict possibility to cause behaviors through the behavioristic approach. In this study, it was attempted to interpret human behaviors based on holistic and interactive relations beyond the old behaviorism based on linear and mechanical thoughts. That is, it was intended to vitali e the user-oriented interactions more positively on the basis of the data of behavior analysis. Thus the environmental qualities that were very likely to be preferred by humans were identified, and an environmental and behavioristic space was created which was high in preference and continued to meet the requirements of the response pattern between the physical elements and human behaviors at the proper level. The research can be described as follows: 1. The background, goals and scope of the study were presented. 2. The need for behavioristic approach in designing the environment for an urban park was explained. And it was examined why the features to support behaviors as the interactions between man and his environment should be applied. 3. An urban park was newly considered as an urban environment. In investigating cases, the current status and problems were analyzed to suggest improvement measures. 4. The foundation used to solve the design issues came from the consideration of the human behaviors happening in an urban park and the analysis of the requirements through theoretical review and cases of park designs. 5. All of these were used to set up a theoretical frame for the environmental design that had the features to support behaviors stressed. The space was programmed and specified. 6. The summary and discussion was presented along with the expected effects and contributions of the study. In this study, a behavioristic approach was taken to show that the relationships between man and his environment were complementary and organic, which led to a design that could cause human behaviors. Now the urban environment finally has some meanings and will keep enhancing its value by reflecting information according to the diverse needs of people. The significance of the study can be found in that it recognized the need to increase the quality level of an urban environment and suggested the ways to do it.
