자연 이미지 패턴 디자인 연구

Abstract

직물 패턴은 산업혁명 이후 본격적인 산업화 시대를 맞이하여 기술개발을 통한 사회적, 문화적 요인과 생활양식 등에 의해 많은 변화를 가져왔다. 산업의 발달로 많은 기술개발은 가져왔으나 환경 오염 문제가 대두되어 현대인들의 자연에 대한 관심도가 커지면서 자연에로의 동경이 여러 분야에서 나타나게 되었으며, 의상 직물에서도 자연은 직물 패턴의 중요한 모티브가 되었다. 이러한 사회적 흐름에 따라 본 연구자는 현대의 직물 패턴 중 자연물(동물)을 모티브로 에콜로지 경향에 의한 인간의 회귀 심리인 과거에 대한 향수와 자연에 대한 그리움을 표현하고자 한다. 직물 패턴의 다양성을 추구하려는 현재의 흐름에 따라 본 연구과제인 자연 복고주의의 내추럴리즘, 복합(Mix) 에스닉과 본질적인 순수함 (Basic Innocence)등으로 인간의 근본적인 열망과 그리움을 표출하고, 창의적 패턴 디자인을 연구하여 의상 직물 패턴으로 활용하려는데 그 목적을 두었다. 피복의 착용이나 실내 장식 등을 행하는 목적은 넓은 안목에서 본다면 인류 복지와 쾌적한 생존 환경을 위한 것이다. 직물 디자인도 이와 같은 인류 생태학 측면에서 볼 때, 인간과 환경과의 조화에 바탕을 두어야 한다. 이에 본 연구자는 환경적 위기로부터 지구를 보호하고 안정을 취하고 싶어하는 인간 본능의 욕구를 환경 휴머니즘과 에콜로지 현상의 이론적 배경으로 자연 회귀 현황을 살펴 보았다. 또한 자연 이미지의 패턴 개발을 위해 자연에 대한 고찰과 자연을 모티브로 한 패턴을 연구하여 시대에 맞게 적절히 재창조 되어진 자연주의 직물 패턴의 경향을 알아 보고 95년 이후의 의상 직물 흐름을 분석하였다. 보다 창의적인 직물 패턴의 개발을 위해서는 현 시대적 상황이 포함 되어야 하며 그 시즌 별 유행 경향의 정확한 분석과 활용을 필요로 하기 때문이다. 본 연구자는 변화하는 대중의 유행 심리에 부합될 뿐만 아니라 다양한 형태와 독특한 무늬의 활용이 가능한 동물을 모티브로 하여 독창적인 패턴 디자인을 연구하였다. 제작 방법으로는 합성섬유 직물에 열 전사 기법을 이용한 패턴 디자인 연구를 하였고, 재료 연구 방법으로는 전사에 적합한 합성섬유의 사회적, 심리적 선택요인과 전사염료에 대하여 알아 보았으며, 본 작업의 제작 과정의 특징인 전사에 대한 이론적 설명과 전사 염료의 컬러 샘플 실험 데이터를 덧붙여 이해를 도왔다. 또한 작품 제작 과정 중 전사기법의 장점인 반복 전사를 이용하여 다양한 코디네이션(Coordination )을 제시하였다. 급속한 경제 성장과 더불어 소비자의 패션 성향이 크게 높아짐에 따라 섬유 패션 제품이 갈수록 고급화, 다양화되고 있기 때문에 텍스타일 디자인의 중요성이 한층 강조되고 있다. 이에, 본 연구자는 독창적이며 기능적인 미의 패턴 개발을 연구하고 컴퓨터 맵핑을 통한 실용성 예측으로 현 섬유 산업에서의 자연 친화적이고 대중적인 직물 패턴 디자인 개발에 기여 하고자 한다.;As fabric industry has developed since the Industrial Revolution, textile patterns have been changed to meet the needs of the times and given their own forms by people's lifestyles and sociocultural factors. Aspiration for nature appeared in various sphere as materialism has surged by the development of industry. This phenomenon was the same in clothing textile. Nature became an important motive of textile patterns as people's interests in nature increased considerably. Also I gave consideration on nature in decorative aspect and researched the history of natural patterns in textile and the trend of textile pattern for clothing. The object of this paper is to design return-to-nature animal patterns and utilize it for clothing is a recurrent expression of modern people's desire to get stable as counteraction against the chaotic situation in the end of this century. Ecology, Ethnic, Naturalism, and Romanticism belong to this trend and are the decorative factors of textile and clothing patterns. For the theoretical background of this study, in the production process I did the surface design and transfer art dyed fabrics. In the production process texture was made by the discharge printing and creasing the cloth. More creative design study for textile patterns requires the consideration of the social, economical, artistic, functional and fashionable aspects of that time and should be applied to popular clothing fabrics through the efforts of creative designers. As interests in appearance are getting important, various clothing textile patterns are required in compliance with the trend of the times emphasizing on individuality. In this respect, this thesis wants to be of service to the development of textile pattern design by creative and functional study of design.
