Abstract
본 연구의 목적은 전래동요를 활용하여 소리내어 읽기활동을 유아에게 실시한후 유아들의 읽기흥미, 동화에 대한 내용이해도, 어휘력에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 소리내어읽기가 유아의 읽기흥미에 영향을 주는가? 2. 소리내어읽기가 유아의 동화에 대한 내용이해도에 영향을 주는가? 3. 소리내어읽기가 유아의 어휘력에 영향을 주는가? 본 연구의 대상은 서울특별시에 소재한 공립유치원인 S유치원과 J유치원의 만 5세 원아 70명으로서 이들의 사회·경제적 수준은 유사하였다. 이들중 읽기발달 검사를 실시한후 읽기발달이 10-11단계(10단계:10명 11단계:34명)인 유아 44명을 추출해내 실험집단 22명 통제집단 22명으로 무선배정하였다. 연구절차는 실험처치로 전래동요를 통한 소리내어 읽기활동실시, 그리고 읽기흥미, 동화에 대한 내용이해도, 어휘력을 알아보기 위한 사후검사의 순서로 진행되었다. 실험집단 22명에게는 전래동요를 통한 소리내어 읽기활동이 이루어졌으며, 통제집단 22명에게는 아무런 처치도 가하지 않았다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 유아의 읽기흥미는 전래동요를 통한 소리내어 읽기활동을 실시하였던 실험집단이 통제집단보다 높게 나타났다. 2. 유아의 동화에 대한 내용이해도는 전래동요를 통한 소리내어 읽기활동을 실시하였던 실험집단이 통제집단보다 높게 나타났다. 3. 유아의 어휘력은 전래동요를 통한 소리내어 읽기활동을 실시하였던 실험 집단이 통제집단보다 높게 나타났다.;The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of practice of reading aloud by means of traditionan nursery rhyme upon infants' interest in reading, level of understanding of nursery rhyme and vocabulary after conducting it to infants. The topics of this research are as follows: 1. Does the practice of reading aloud by means of traditional nursery rhyme have any impact upon infants' interest in reading? 2. Does the practice of reading aloud by means of traditional nursery rhyme have any impact upon infants' level of understanding of fairy tales? 3. Does the practice of reading aloud by means of traditional nursery rhyme have any impact upon infants' vocabulary? The subjects of this research were 5 years old kindergarten children attending S and J Kindergarten, public institutions, located in Seoul and their social status and living standards were similar. For the purpose of surveying the level of reading competence 44 infants who belong to 10-11th grade for reading competence were selected and divided into 22 for control group and 22 for experiment group by random selection. The procedure for survey included practice of reading aloud by means of traditional nursery rhyme and conduction post-test for the purpose of identifying level of interest in reading, level of understanding the story of fairy tale and vocabulary. For 22 children who belonged to experiment group practice of reading aloud nursery rhyme was performed and for 22 of the control group no such practice was erformed. The result of analysis is as follows: 1. The experiment group for which practice of reading aloud by means of nursery rhyme was performed showed higher level of interest for reading than control group. 2. The experiment group for which practice of reading aloud by means of nursery rhyme was performed showed higher level of understanding of fairy tale than control group. 3. The experiment group for which practice of reading aloud by means of nursery rhyme was performed showed higher level of vocabulary than control group.
