基督敎 幼兒를 위한 敎育課程의 한 모델

Abstract

기독교 유아교육의 중요성은 최근의 유아교육의 중요성 인식과 관련한 교육이론과 함께 기독교 교육의 영역에서 새롭게 강조되고 있는 추세이다. 기독교 유아들은 교회에서의 교육만으로는 효과적인 기독교 교육의 목적을 성취할 수가 없다. 유아들은 비형식적인 상황 속에서 통합적인 학습을 하게 되기 때문이다. 그러므로 그들의 장(場)인 가정과 교회가 연결되어, 교회와 가정이 동일한 목적을 가지고 학습이 진행되어야 하고, 이에 따른 자료 개발이 요청된다. 이러한 자료 개발의 필요성에 부응해 본 연구는 기독교 유아를 위한 교육과정으로서 성탄절 절기교육과정의 모델을 제시하였다. Ⅱ장에서는 모델제시에 앞서서 기독교 유아교육의 기초이론으로서 기독교 유아의 발달이론과 기독교 유아교육의 사회학적ㆍ이론, 그리고 유아들의 교육의 장으로서의 가정과 교회의 연계성을 서술하였다. Ⅲ장에서는 Ⅱ장의 이론을 기초로 서술하였다. 기독교 유아교육의 목적은 기독교적인 삶의 태도를 형성하는 것이다. 그 내용으로는 그들의 수준에서 이해되고 있고, 그들과 관계되는 하나님, 예수님, 교회, 가정, 이웃에 관한 내용을 다루었다. 방법에 있어서는 또래집단을 통한 방법과 그들의 모델이 되는 부모와 교사를 통한 방법, 그리고 모든 세대가 모여서 함께 경험하는 공동세대 프로그램을 통한 구체적인 방법을 제시하였다. 평가는 유아들의 특성으로 인하여 부모와 교사의 관찰에 의하거나, 유아 스스로의 작품활동이나 느낌의 표현을 통한 형성평가가 될 수 있다. Ⅳ장에서는 기독교 유아를 위한 교육과정론에 기초하여 교회와 가정이 연결하여 학습할 수 있는 실제의 모델을 제시하였다. 먼저 성탄절 절기교육의 가능성을 전제하고 성탄절 절기의 학습경험을 서술하였다. 성탄절 절기교육과정의 모델은 경험중심의 프로그램으로써 대강절 4주와 성탄절로서 5과이다. 성탄절에 관계하여 공동세대 프로그램과 특별 프로그램을 포함하였다. 결론에서는 본 연구의 요약과 몇 가지 제안을 서술하였다. 그리고 성탄절 절기학습에서 활용할 수 있는 실제의 예를 부록에 소개하였다.;The importance of pre-school Christian Education tends to emphasize the inter-relationships between Christian Education and early childhood education theory. The goals of pre-school Christian Education cannot be effectively reached 'by education only at church because children also learn through integrated education in all kinds of informal situations. Therefore this thesis contends that childhood education advances best in the context of cooperation between church and home and resource material must be developed to implement such a concern. study a model curriculum for pre-school Christian children is presented to enable children to enjoy a meaningful Christmas In this program. In Chapter Ⅱ, a basic theoretical model for the education of pre-school Christian children is described. This model includes a theory of child development, a sociological theory of childhood education, and a concept of the proper relation between the church and home. That relationship is indeed the context of childhood Christian Education. Chapter Ⅲ deals with goals, content, and methods. The goal of pre-school Christian Education is t o enable the child t o form a Christian lifestyle. Its content includes the concepts of God, Jesus, church, home, and neighbor interpreted on each child's level of understanding. The general methods of study are: participation in peer group play activities, personal modeling focused on parents and teachers, and intergenerational group programs involving the whole church membership in family camping, observing special seasons of the church year, etc. Constructive evaluation should also be done by parents and teachers observing the children's productions and expressions of feeling because the characteristics of children are different from those of adults. In Chapter Ⅳ, an, educational model is suggested which can be actually practiced in developing the relationship between church and home. A program f o r the Christmas Season based on the pre-suppositions of practical Christian Education is proposed. This program is composed of a series of five units which can be used during the four weeks of Advent plus Christmas Day. At the same time supplementary materials for intergenerational and other groups celebrating the Christmas season are included. In the Appendix many other practical Christmas program ideas are provided for use in the local church.
