LAN에 의한 교실망 시스템

Abstract

본 연구는 중, 고등학교 수준의 학교내에서의 CAI 수업과 학교 행정의 전산화를 병행한다는 측면에서, 여러 대의 PC들을 LAN으로 연결하여 Netware라는 구체적인 Network Operating System을 적용시켜 교실망을 구현하여 본 것이다. CAI 수업 혹은 학생들의 컴퓨터 교육을 위해 기본적으로 수십 대의 PC가 마련되어야 하고, 이 PC들이 직접적으로 학생의 수업에 이용되게 되는데, 이 때 이러한 수십대의 PC를 총괄적으로 관리하고, 학생의 수업상황을 제어할 수 있는 방법이 필요하며, 이 방법으로 채택할 수 있는 것이 바로 PC LAN이다 LAN을 구축하기 위해서는 몇 가지 기술적인 환경과 설비가 제공되어야 하며 사용될 소프트웨어나 사용자의 관리를 위한 Directory 설정, Drive Mapping, Menu의 구현이 필요한데, 이를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 학교 행정의 처리와 학생들의 CAI 수업 관리에 있어서 적합한 시스템을 제안하며, Netware 3.11을 NOS로 하여 구체적으로 시스템을 구현하여 보았다.;Since the development of the computer has enabled a various field of society to use more widely, the field of Education has been paying a special attention to computer education, usage into teaching and instruction mediums. Confronted with the challenges in computer application for education, the main purpose of this research is to integrate computerization of CAI class, student supervising, and school administration of the unified system. For a specific implementation of unified system, the LAN has been chosen for its capability to manage a large number of PCs together and sharing availibility of information and programs to many users. In order to install the LAN in actuality, a proper equipment and environment has to be provided. The details for this research are selected as follow: 1) Network Operating System: Netware v3.11 2) For Users: CPU-80286 compatible, 1MB Memory For Servers: CPU-80386, 30486, 2MB Memory 3) Cable (Network Communication Medium): Coaxial Cable 4) Topology: Bus Topology 5) Network Interface Card: Ethernet (3COM) 6) Couse-Ware 7) Soft-Ware for Management of student, tutorial, administration To use the LAN in the aforsaid environment so called "Network", we should first establish the directory for the sake of supervising the users and S/W. Secondly, an implementation of drive mapping and menu must be arranged. And most of all, the process for the sharing of file or data on the S/W has to be organized. In this research, the LAN system in school is suggested through the way of controling the sharing data. But it is impossible to handle from current Authoring tools. Therefore, it must is practiced by a professional programers. For an attainment of network between school to school, school to home, and school to commercial C/W communication network host, must more study is needed.
