화학교사를 위한 인터넷의 화학교육사이트 검색과 홈페이지 활용

Abstract

In this point of time being changed into the age when the information is getting emphasized more and more day by day, Internet is getting to be an indispensable method to help make decision properly and swiftly. This study is aimed to search for information on education of chemistry subject available especially on Internet web service of a variety of ways to use Internet and let it made a s Home-Page on network with classified and categorized for teachers in school to use it without difficulty. For the class using Internet it needs much time in the process of searching for the information and sorting it out. This can be prepared by the corresponded professionals and the concerned beforehand. Professional should analyze the selected information in advance and reorganize and supply it for teachers in school to use properly, Trough these steps teachers can save time and pains while using Internet for searching the information. Moreover it is served to students as an already proved document for searching work. It was searched domestic and foreign sites concerned with education of chemistry subject with a search tool on Internet. 'chemistry', 'lab', 'education', 'virtual', 'science' were used compounded as key-words for searching work. The level of contents on the selected sites was compared with that of the curriculum of chemistry subject in our middle and high school. And then it was classified and categorized in consideration of the subject matter of learning, questions for evaluation, materials for learning, the way of approach and the security of the sites. At first, it was classified according to the theme mostly focused on the 6th curriculum(science in middle school and chemistry in high school) and then divided into three forms: <lecture>, <experiment>, <evaluation>. On every forms has been marked its corresponded URL. <lecture> is to explain the contents as a real class, to take examples and to describe the meaning. <experiment> is composed of the way and process of experiment. <evaluation> contains exercises and quizzes. And Home-Page was made to contain the categorized index for teachers in school to use it by themselves. Next it is hyper linked using HTML and JAVA to be connected directly when the concerned site is selected and the bulletin board for teachers was created for them to discuss the information in school and troubles. The Home-Page for chemistry education was publicized on a network.;정보의 중요성이 날로 강조되고 있는 시대로 변화해가는 시점에서 인터넷은 적절하고 신속하게 의사결정을 하는데 필수적인 수단으로 자리 잡아가고 있다. 따라서 정보화 시대를 이끌어갈 차세대를 교육하는 교육현장에서 인터넷을 활용하는 구체적인 방안을 제시하는 것이 시급한 일이다. 본 연구는 인터넷을 이용한 여러 교육 방법 중 인터넷의 웹서비스를 이용하여 얻을 수 있는 화학교육정보를 검색하고 현장 교사들이 수업자료로 이용하기에 편리하도록 분류, 목록화하여 그 내용을 홈페이지로 만들어 네트워크에 올려 현장교사들과 공유하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 인터넷을 이용하는 수업을 위해 정보를 검색하고 선별하는 과정에서 많은 시간이 필요한데 이것은 해방분야의 전문가들과 관련자들에 의해 미리 준비될 수 있다. 전문가들이 대상이 되는 정보를 먼저 분석하고 현장교사들이 이용하기 적합하도록 재구성하여 제공하는 것이다. 그럼으로써 교사들은 인터넷을 이용해서 자료를 검색하는 시간과 수고를 줄일 수 있다. 또한 학생들에게 정보검색을 위한 검증된 자료로써 제시될 수도 있다. 본 연구는 다음과 같은 절차를 거쳐 진행되었다. 인터넷의 검색엔진을 이용하여 화학교육과 관련된 국내외 사이트를 검색하였다. 검색에 사용한 키워드로는 'chemistry', 'lab', 'education', 'virtual', 'science' 등을 조합하여 사용하였다. 검색된 사이트의 내용을 우리나라 중, 고등학교의 화학교과 수준과 비교하고 학습소재와 평가문항, 학습자료, 접근방법, 사이트의 안정성 등을 고려하여 선별한 후 목록화 하였다. 먼저 우리나라 제6차 교과과정에 의한 중학교 과학교과서와 고등학교 화학교과서를 중심으로 주제별로 나눈 다음, 내용상 수업하듯이 설명, 예시, 풀이한 것은 [강의], 실험과정, 방법 등은 [실험], 연습문제나 퀴즈 등은 [평가]의 세가지 형으로 나누고 해당 사이트의 URL을 표기하였다. 교사들이 직접 활용할 수 있도록 분류된 목록을 담아 홈페이지를 작성하였다. HTML과 JAVA를 이용하여 해당 사이트를 선택하면 바로 연결될 수 있도록 하이퍼링크하였고 교사들이 현장정보를 나누고 의견을 교환할 수 있는 교사용 게시판을 작성하였다. 화학교육 홈페이지를 네크워크에 올려 이를 공개하였다. http://mm.ewha.ac.kr/~pkh512/im/index.htm
