유아교육 프로그램 유형이 아동의 학업성취, 사회.정서 및 창의성에 미치는 영향

Abstract

1960년대 중반부터 유아교육 프로그램에 대한 연구는 여러가지 유아교육과정모형을 개발하고 비교하는 연구가 많이 이루어졌다. 이러한 연구경향은 점차 변하여 유아교육 프로그램의 유형이나 교수방법의 차이가 아동에게 미치는 영향에 관심을 보이게 되었다. 이와 더불어 우리나라에서도 유아교육의 양적인 팽창 보다는 어떠한 유아교육 내용으로 어떻게 가르칠 것인가에 대한 관심을 가져야 할 상태에 있다. 이에 본 연구는 두가지 유아교육 프로그램 유형이 1년후인 국민학교 1학년말 아동의 학업성취, 사회·정서 및 창의성에 미치는 영향을 분석 하고자 하는데 목적을 두었다. 위와 같은 연구목적에 준하여 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다. 1. 국민학교 1학년 아동의 학업성취는 두가지 유아교육 프로그램 유형과 아동의 성별에 따라 유이한 차이가 있는가? 2. 국민학교 1학년 아동의 사회·정서의 두가지 유아교육 프로그램 유형과 아동의 성별에 따라 유이한 차이가 있는가? 3. 국민학교 1학년 아동의 창의성은 두가지 유아교육 프로그램 유형과 아동의 성별에 따라 유의한 차이가 있는가? 이상의 연구문제에 따라 유형 Ⅰ(비구조적인 프로그램)과 유형Ⅱ(구조적인 프로그램)집단에서 연구대상을 선정하였다. 즉, 교육체제와 교육시설환경이 서로 비슷하면서 교수방법이 다른 두집단을 선정하여 유형 Ⅰ(비구조적인 프로그램)에서 25명, 유형Ⅱ(구조적인 프로그램)에서 26명을 선정 하였다. 연구도구는 이대균이 국민학교 1학년 교육과정의 교과목표를 기초로 하여 국민학교 1학년 교사들과 서울교육대학 교수들의 자문을 얻어 제작한 학업성취 검사, Torrance의 창의성 검사, 한국행동과학연구소에서 개발된 사회·정서 발달 평정 척도 검사등을 사용하여 SPSS Computer Program에 의해 t검정 하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 국민학교 1학년 아동의 학업성취는 두가지 유아교육 프로그램 유형과 아동의 성별에 따라 유의한 차이가 없었다. 하위 요인 중에서는 유형 Ⅰ인 집단이 유형 Ⅱ인 집단 보다 '쓰기'에 있어 통계적으로 P＜.05 수준에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 2. 국민학교 1학년 아동의 사회·정서는 두가지 유아교육 프로그램 유형과 아동의 성별에 따라 유의한 차이가 없었다. 그러나 성별에 따른 하위 요인 중에서 유형 Ⅱ인 집단의 남자아동이 유형 Ⅰ인 집단의 남자아동 보다 '교사의 의존성'에 있어 더 높게 나타났고, 통계적으로 P＜.05 수준에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 또한 '내적통제'에 있어서는 유형 Ⅰ인 집단의 여자아동이 유형 Ⅱ인 집단의 여자아동 보다 더 높게 나타났으며, 통계적으로 P＜.05 수준에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. '호기심'도 유형 Ⅰ인 집단의 남자아동이 유형Ⅱ인 집단의 남자아동 보다 더 높게 나타났고, 통계적으로 P＜.05 수준에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 3. 국민학교 1학년 아동의 창의성은 두가지 유아교육 프로그램 유형과 아동의 성별에 따라 통계적으로 P＜.05수준에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 즉 유형 Ⅰ인 집단이 유형Ⅱ인 집단 보다 더 높게 나타났고, 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다.;The study on the early childhood program education has been active since the middle of 1960s. The study tendency has been changed to see the types and the effect of the program. Consequently, it came to show the interest about the influence that the type of program and the teaching method on children. In this study the research to examine the influence that two types of education program on children’s achievement, social-emotion, and creativity at the end of the 1st grade in the primary school. The subject of study is as follows: 1. Is there any significant difference on achievement of children at the 1st grade in primary school, in accordance with two types of education program for children and the distinction of sex? 2. Is there any significant difference in the social emotion of children at the 1st grade in primary school, in accordance with two types of education program for children and the distinction of sex? 3. Is there any significant difference in the creativity of children at the 1st grade in primary school, in accordance with two types of education program for children and the distinction of sex? For above study, this researcher based the children at the 1st grade in primary school, by selecting two groups that education system and the environment of education facilities are similar mutually and the teaching methods are different. As for the children that the follow - up was made, 25 children were in TypeⅠ(unstructured program), and 26 children were in TypeⅡ(structural program). The study instrument, developed by Lee, Dae Kyoon was modified which was composed by the author obtaining the consultation of the teachers at the 1st grade in primary school and the professors in Seoul Education College on the basis of subject goal of curriculum at the 1st grade in primary school. To examine the creativity, Torrance, Kit was used and the examination of evaluation measure of social emotional development was used which was developed by KIRBS. The result obtained through this study is as follows: 1. There is no significant difference in the study achievement of the children at the 1st grade in primary school, in accordance with two types of education program and the distinction of sex of children. Among the low rank factors, group of TypeⅠ appeared higher than the group of TypeⅡ, in ‘writing’. This appeared as the significant difference statistically at the level of P＜.05. 2. There is no significant difference in the social emotion of the children at the 1st grade in primary school, in accordance with two types of education program and the distinction of sex of children. Among the low rank factors attendant upon the distinction of sex, made children of group of TypeⅡ appeared higher than male children of group of TypeⅠ, in the independent nature of teachers. And, there was the significant difference at the level of P＜.05. In addition, in the inner control, female children of group of TypeⅠ appeared higher than those of group of TypeⅡ. Thus, there was the significant difference at the level of P＜.05. 3. As for the creativity of the children at the 1st grade in primary school, there was the significant difference at the level of P＜.05 statistically, in accordance with two types of education program and the distinction of sex. That is, group TypeⅠ appeared higher than group of TypeⅡ. Thus, there was significant difference at the level of P＜.05
