유아기 통합교육을 위한 부모 및 교사의 태도에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 유아기 통합교육의 이론적 배경을 근거로 하여 우리나라 유아기 통합교육을 위한 기초 조사연구로서 통합교육의 주요 교육환경 요인인 부모와 교사집단의 특수아에 대한 태도를 조사하여 본 것이다. 사용된 도구는 Lazer, Bonett 그리고 Granoff(1973)의 특수아에 대한 태도 질문지를 기초로 한 30문항과 통합교육에 대한 부모 및 교사의 태도를 알아보기 위해 5개 문항을 첨가시켜 총 35문항으로 구성하였다. 연구대상은 부모와 교사집단으로서, 부모집단은 정상아 부모 100명, 특수아 부모 100명으로 200명이었고, 교사집단은 정상아 교사 100명, 특수아 교사 100명으로 총 400명이었다. 수집된 400명에 대한 자료처리는 전체적으로 부모와 교사집단간의 특수아에 대한 태도를 알아보기 위해 이원변량 분석을 하였고, 하위변인에 대한 각 집단간의 3원변량 분석을 하였다. 각 집단별로 하위변인에 대해 구체적으로 어떠한 차이가 있는지 알아보기 위해 Newman-Keuls 사후검증 및 Z검증을 하였다. 이상과 같은 방법을 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 특수아에 대한 부모 및 교사집단의 태도는 통계적으로 의의있는 차이를 보이지 않았다. 그러나 특수아의 부모 및 교사집단이 정상아 부모 및 교사집단보다 더 긍정적인 태도를 보였다. 2. 특수아에 대한 부모 및 교사집단의 태도는 하위영역에서 통계적으로 의의있는 차이를 보였다. 이를 각 하위요인별로 살펴보면 가. 「특수아의 자아를 이해하는 태도」에서는, 특수아 교사가 가장 높은 긍정적 점수를, 정상아 부모가 가장 낮은 점수를 나타내었다. 나. 「특수아의 작업을 이해하는 태도」에서는, 정상아 교사가 가장 높은 긍정적 점수를, 특수아 교사가 가장 낮은 점수를 나타냈다. 다. 「특수아의 사회생활을 이해하는 태도」에서는, 특수아 교사가 가장 높은 긍정적 점수를, 정상아 부모가 가장 낮은 점수를 나타냈다. 라. 「특수아의 학교생활을 이해하는 태도」에서는, 특수아 부모가 가장 높은 점수를, 정상아 부모가 가장 낮은 점수를 나타냈다. 마. 「특수아의 가정을 이해하는 태도」에서는, 특수아 부모가 가장 높은 긍정적 점수를, 특수아 교사가 가장 낮은 점수를 보였다. 바. 「통합교육에 대한 태도」에서는, 특수아 교사가 가장 높은 긍정적 점수를, 특수아 부모가 가장 낮은 점수를 보였다. 3. 하위변인중 전 집단은 「통합교육에 대한 태도」에서 가장 높은 점수를 나타냈고 「특수아의 작업을 이해하는」요인에서 가장 낮은 점수를 보였다.;This study was conceived to investigate the exceptional children among the parents and teachers with and without some contacts with exceptional children. Korean version of Attitude Scale by Lazer, et al (1973) which contained 5 Subcategories such as self, work social, family, and school was used. In order to examine the attitude toward the mainstreaming in the preschool, five items were added to the original scale by the researcher. Thus the whole scales were 35 items with 6 categories. For each item, subjects were asked to check "Yes" or "NO" depending upon their own attitudes. Four hundreded parents and teachers was Chosen as subjects. Half of parents had their own exceptional children and half of teachers were special teachers. Data was analyzed via 2x2x6 ANOVA with last factor repeated and other relevant statistical treatment were utilized as the data dictated. Some of the major findings were as follows: 1. Special teachers showed more positive attitudes toward exceptional children while parents with normal children showed least. 2. For the mainstreaming in the preschool setting, special teachers were the most positive where as parents with exceptional children were the least positive. 3. For the self subscore, all four groups showed negative attitudes that is they judged that exceptional children might have lower self concepts than normals. 4. For the work subscale, all four groups attitudes were least positive. Other minor findings and implications were discussed in the main contaxt.
