ECO-Design원리의 고찰과 환경디자인 적용사례 연구

Abstract

17세기 과학기술의 진보와 발전에 의해 추진되어온 산업화는 이성에 대한 절대적 믿음을 기초로 하여 선형적인 성장을 추구하므로써 인류는 지금까지 경험하지 못했던 문명과 기술의 발달은 물론 물질적 풍요를 이룩하였으나 생태계의 파괴, 지구온난화와 환경오염등의 심각한 환경문제를 야기시켰다. 모더니즘 패러다임의 기계론적, 합리적 세계관에 의한 그릇된 자연 인식에 의해서는 자연과 우리자신을 보는 사고의 틀, 즉 패러다임의 전환이 필요하다. 인류가 당면한 절박한 위기의 해결책으로서의 생태학적 세계관은 지구 전체를 하나의 생명체로 이해하며 자연을 정복의 대상이 아니라 인간의 근원적 모체이며 조화를 찾아야 할 대상으로 이해하게 한다. 즉 인간은 자연의 일부분으로서 생태학적 고리에 의해 연결되어 있으며 인류의 참다운 발전은 자연과의 공존이며 지속가능한 미래를 위해서는 자연과 조화될 수 있는 문화를 이룩하는 방향을 찾는 것이 필요하리라고 본다. 인간과 환경의 매체환경으로서 환경디자인에 생태학적 패러다임을 적용한다는 것은 디자인 사고체계에 새로운 방법의 틀을 제공하며 인간의 삶의 프로세스와 생태계의 프로세스를 통합하여 자연과 인간이 공존할 수 있게 하며 삶의 질을 향상시켜 줄 것이다. 생태계의 생명현상의 고찰을 통해 그 안에서 발견되는 순환질서 원리, 그리고 자연의 아름다움을 구축하는 질서원리, 이들이 총체적으로 이루어 내는 완벽한 공생의 질서원리는 환경디자인이 나아가야 할 기본방향을 제시해주고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 생태학적 세계관에 입각하여 환경에 대한 재인식을 통해 인간과 생태계가 모두 건강하고 자연과의 공존을 통해 인간의 삶의 가치와 질을 향상시키며 이것이 생존의 강화 요인으로 작용하여 우리의 미래가 지속가능할 수 있는 환경디자인 방법을 연구하기 위해서 다음과 같은 방법을 통해서 진행하였다. 첫째, 현재의 환경문제를 야기한 모더니즘 패러다임과 그에 따른 모더니즘 건축의 문제점을 고찰하며 그 이후의 다원화된 양상을 드러내고 건축이 나아가야 할 방향을 제시하였다. 둘째, 환경시대를 주도해 나갈 보편적이고 총체적인 건축이 되기위한 지속 가능성과 생태건축에 대해 고찰하였다. 셋째, 생태학적 패러다임에 의한 새로운 디자인 사고의 틀로서 시스템 이론과 카오스 이론, 생태학적 관점에서의 형태에 대해서 고찰 함으로써 문제해결을 위한 준거의 틀을 마련하였다. 넷째, Eco-Design 원리를 고찰하고 Eco-Design 원리의 디자인적 적용을 위한 방법을 연구하여 본 디자인을 위한 방법으로 차용하였다. 이상에서 연구한 내용을 바탕으로 생태공원과 연계된 전시문화 공간을 디자인하는데 있어 디자인의 전체과정에 적용하고 생태학적 디자인 모형 사례를 제시하였다. 다섯째, 모든 과정을 종합 평가하기 위해 평가의 틀을 제시하고 평가의 방법에 의해 연구의 타당성과 구체적 발전 가능성을 제시하였다. 이와 같은 연구결과 현재의 환경적 위기를 극복하기 위해 생태학적 세계관으로의 전환이 필요하며 Eco -Designd원리를 환경디자인에 적용하므로써 인간과 환경이 공존할 수 있는 디자인 이론과 디자인 사례를 제시하였음에 그 의의를 둔다.;While industrialization in 17^(th) century, propelled by the development and progress of the scientific technology, has pursued the linear growth with ideological power, it has offered human being enlightened modern conveniences and technical development and technical development and then brought the material abundance. However it has also brought the fatal damages to the natural order of the Ecosustem such as environmental contamination, greenhouse effect and destruction of the Ecosustem such as environmental contamination, greenhouse effect and destruction of ecological pyramid. In order to overcome the current environmental crists comsed by the mechanical and rational view of nature, paradigm shift, changing framwork of perceiving nature and human being, is absolutely needed. The whole-mined and ecolgical world-view as a solution for crisis that human faced currently looks the whole Earth as a systematic, organism and admits it as an object which human is considered to function with the environment mutually and to evolve in harmony with. The real development of human can be ochieved through the coexistence with nature. For the continual future, of human development, a variety of approaches which should be in harmony with nature based on the ecological view points. the ecological paradigm to the environmental design as a medium between human and environment provides a new frame of design concept and enhances the quality of human life through unifying life process of human and ecological process of nature. Circulation theory from investigating the phenomenon of ecological life, order theory from beauty of natural harmony, and perfect symbiosis present the fundamental directions to the interior environmental design. The purposes of this study are to re-recognize the environment based on ecological view of nature, to investigate the relation between the ecological concept and the architecture and then to find out the methods of the environmental design which provide enhancements of the value and quality of human life through perfect symbiosis between human and ecological system. For these purposes, this study consists of the following procedures. First, it sutdies the modernism paradigm which has caused the current environmental crisis and the problems of modernism architecture. It presents multifarious aspects of modernism and future ways of development of architecture. Second, it investigates ecological architecture and the possibilities of total and general architecture that leads the current environmental era. Third, it provides the framework of conformity through investigating new design concepts based on ecological paradigm such as System theory, Chaos theory, and ecological viewpoints. Forth, it reviews the basic Eco-design principle and utilizes application of Eco-design in order to present this study. Based on the above studies, this paper suggest the ecological design example which shows display space related to ecological park. Fifth, it provides the synthesis and evaluation of the consequences of the visualized designing example, which shows the validity of this study and presents the possibilities of future development in detail. As a result of this study, we recognize the shift to ecological viewpoint in order to overcome the current environmental crisis. Also the meaning of this study is to propose the ecological approach and design example for commensal life of human and the environment.
