환경친화적인 여가문화공간 디자인에 관한 연구

Abstract

An international mode based upon the mechanism world view of modern science paradigm has overwhelmed serious worries in the international modes of the early modernists, been in the saddle as a mode, and caused critical environmental problems to human beings and the nature in consequence of design works which depended on the consumption of unrecyclable resources such as fossil fuels and simply concentrated on the functional rationality of scientific technology, with the uncontextual propensity which does not consider urban contexts and natural environments. The whole-minded and ecological world view, which gathered strength as a way for the improvement of the above-mentioned environment with today environment problems radically recognized, is a thought needed for the turnover to a new balance before the ecosystem of the earth loses its balance any more. In order to correct our environment changed by all doings of human beings, I think that important is the ecological attitude to consider all things as a whole systematic and changing tirelessly. Therefore the environmental design should be comprehended as a part of the environment of the earth including man and nature through the mutual relationship between them, and be carried out for the purpose of composing the artificial environment to be with the earth environment in the end and possible within the limit of the natural purification. This study has been initiated from the standpoint of cognizance transformation that it is necessary to amend the right sense of sight on the environment design and in this study I am going to look into the concept of environment harmony as a plan where the coming 21^(st) century should be defined to be prior to all of things and secured the durability as a new concept on environment based on the whole-minded and ecological world view. Through the case analysis of domestic theme parks, practical plan elements can be suggested. At last there is a meaning in proposing cases of cultural spaces for leisure of environment harmony which are fit to the quality and the value of beauty of environment and this study has been proceeded in the ways as followings; First, the concept, trends, and the value of beauty of design based upon Environment harmony as a design strategy to solve environmental problems and the concept on Ecolism as a new ideology newly raised will be studied according as a new world view is needed by transforming the shift of paradigm. Second, classify the concepts of theme parks by studies that diverse today leisure activities need as a new type of form of leisure. Third, based on the above-mentioned, set the theological concept of design of environment harmony and find out the plans for application in the design of theme parks by selecting and analyzing the cases of theme parks and inducing plan elements of environment harmony. Fourth, on the basis of elements and the way of launching suggested above draw items and suggest a new model as the theme park of environment harmony by applying to the space and programming of design. Fifth, through the study result induced in all steps and the total evaluation on the model of theme park of environment harmony suggested, place an emphasis on the propriety and meaning of this study. In this study the concept of environment harmony is the integrated concept of preservation and creation, and it means to design plans and designs of city, complex, landscape architecture, building, interior, product, and graphic consistent and durable. The design of environment harmony shares its meaning with green design and ecological design, and has its basis in the empirical philosophy. It can be defined as the design to provide human beings with clean environment and go back to and become one with the nature with the nature principle of circulation applied and its quality used by thinking highly of the balance with the nature rather than giving a new order to it.;근대과학 패러다임의 기계론적 세계관을 전제로 한 국제주의 양식은 도시적 문맥과 자연적 환경을 고려하지 않는 비문맥적 성향을 띠고, 화석연료와 같은 재생 불가능한 자원의 소비에 의존하여 단순히 과학기술의 기능적 합리성에만 주력한 디자인 행위로 말미암아 인간과 자연에 심각한 환경문제를 야기하게 되었다. 현대의 환경문제를 근본적으로 인식하게 되고 이러한 환경의 개선방법으로 대두된 전일적이고 생태적인 세계관은 지구 생태계가 더 이상의 균형을 잃기 전에 새로운 균형으로의 전환에 필요한 사고이며, 인간의 모든 행위로 말미암아 변형된 우리의 환경을 바로잡기 위해서는 모든 것을 전체적인 입장에서 시스템적으로 보고 부단히 변화하는 역동적인 것으로 보는 생태적 관점을 지니는 것이 중요하다고 본다. 사회 전반에서 환경문제가 총체적으로 제기되면서 환경보전과 지속가능한 개발을 목표로 하는 새로운 경향이 대두되고 있고, 디자인 분야에서 역시 이러한 목표는 중요한 부분으로 대두되고 있다. 따라서 환경디자인은 인간과 자연을 포함하는 지구환경의 일부로서 이들간의 상호관계성을 통해 이해되어야 하며, 지구환경과 공생할 수 있고 지구자정능력의 한계 내에서 가능한 인공환경을 구성하는 것을 목적으로 수행되어야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 환경디자인에 대한 올바른 시각정립이 필요하다는 인식전환의 관점에서 출발하였으며, 다가올 21세기를 환경이 모든 것에 우선하는 환경시대로 정의하고, 전일적·생태학적 세계관에 입각한 새로운 환경사상으로 '지속가능성'을 확보하기 위한 방안인 '환경친화'의 개념을 살펴보았고, 이러한 개념에 부합되는 국내외 테마파크의 사례분석을 통해 실천적 계획요소를 도출, 적용방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 최종적으로는 환경의 질과 미적가치에 부합하는 환경친화적인 여가문화공간의 사례를 제시하는데 그 의의가 있으며, 크게 다음과 같은 방법으로 진행되었다. 1. 패러다임의 전환에 의한 새로운 세계관의 요구에 따라 대두되는 새로운 환경사상으로서의 「생태주의」의 개념과 현대의 심각한 환경문제를 해결하기 위한 디자인 전략으로 '환경친화'를 바탕으로 하는 디자인의 개념과 경향, 미적가치에 대해 고찰하였다. 2. 양적·질적으로 다양화된 현대사회의 여가활동이 새로운 개념의 요구하는 테마파크의 개념적 고찰을 통해 유형별로 분류하였다. 3. 살펴보았던 내용을 토대로 환경친화적인 디자인의 이론적 개념들을 설정하고, 이러한 개념틀에 부합하는 테마파크 사례들을 선정·분석하여 환경친화적인 계획요소를 도출함으로써 테마파크 디자인에 있어서의 적용방안을 모색하였다. 4. 위에서 제시한 요소 및 도입방법을 토대로 대상지 현황분석을 통해 테마파크 계획에 적용할 수 있는 항목들을 추출하여 디자인 프로그래밍과 공간에의 적용을 통해 환경친화적인 데마파크로서의 새로운 모형을 제시하였다. 5. 전 과정에서 도출된 연구 결과와 제시된 테마파크의 모델에 대한 환경친화적 측면에서의 종합·평가를 통해 본 연구의 타당성과 의의를 강조한다. 본 연구에서의 '환경친화' 개념은 보전과 창조의 통합개념으로, 환경친화적인 디자인은 도시설계, 단지설계, 조경설계나 건축설계, 실내디자인, 제품디자인, 그래픽 디자인 등을 지속가능한 설계가 되도록 디자인하는 것을 의미한다. 환경친화적인 디자인은 그린 디자인, 생태학적 디자인 등의 용어와 같은 맥락을 가지면서 경험주의 철학에 근거를 두고 자연과 함께하는, 자연친화적·인간친화적인 디자인으로서 "자연에 새로운 질서를 부여하기 보다는 자연과의 평형을 중시함으로써 자연의 순환원리를 디자인에 적용하고 자연의 물성을 이용하여, 인간에게 쾌적한 환경을 제공하는 자연에 합일하는 생태적 디자인"이라 정의할 수 있다. 이와같은 연구 결과 현대의 환경문제를 근본적으로 인식하게 되었고, 이러한 환경의 개선방법으로 요구되는 환경친화적인 디자인은 인간-환경 관계에서 인간에게 적합한 환경을 지원할 수 있는 디자인 방법임을 입증할 수 있었다는 점에 그 의의를 둔다.
