매체를 통한 미술교육의 문제점 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 현행 방송되어지고 있는 KBS 「TV유치원 하나 둘 셋」 프로그램중 미술교육 프로그램이 아동의 미술교육에 미치는 영향을 조사하고 그에 나타난 문제점을 파악하여 보다 바람직한 프로그램을 위한 방안을 제시하려는데 목적이 있다. 피조사자가 어린관계로 설문지는 그들의 학부모가 대신 응답했던 까닭으로 학부모의 아동미술교육에 대한 시각을 밝힐 필요가 있었다. 학부모가 받았던 미술교육의 정도는 우리나라 미술교육의 발달과정을 살펴봄으로써 간접적으로 축출할 수 있었다. 이에따라 다음과 같은 연구문제들이 설정되었다. 1. 학부모가 보조교사로서의 역할을 수행하기 위하여 전제되어 지는 아동 미술교육에 대한 시각문제 2. 아동이 프로그램을 이해하기 위한 형식적인 속성인 진행시간과 진행속도의 정도 3. 프로그램의 학습내용면에서 나타난 미술의 종류와, 주제별 재료의사용, 도구사용등과 교수방법들이 아동의 미술교육발달 함양에 미치는 영향 정도 위의 연구를 수행하기 위하여 예비조사를 걸쳐 설문지를 작성하였고 서울시내에 소재해 있는 아동의 사회교육기관인, 선교원, 유아원, 유치원, 속셈학원, 미술학원 등을 대상으로 설문지를 배부하여 TV프로그램을 시청한 학부모 165명을 표본대상으로 하였다. 본 조사결과 학부모의 관심도가 76.6%로 나타났고, 아동의 시청율이 93.8%이므로 본 프로그램이 취학전 아동을 대상으로 하는 목적에는 부합하고 있다. 그러나 시청횟수가 많아질수록 프로그램에 대한 시청율은 떨어지고 있는 것으로 조사결과 나타나 궁극적인 목적으로 설정된 아동의 미술교육향상에는 그다지 도움을 주지 못하고 있다는 결론을 내릴 수 있다. 아울러, 아동의 보조교사로서의 역할을 담당하게 되는 부모의 對아동미술교육관은 그들이 받았던 미술교육에 비추어 봤을 때 다소 부정적일 수 있다는 가정을 가능하게 해준다.;The major objectives of this study are to identify the effects of art edcational program, which is a part of "TV kindergarden One, Two, Three" broadcasted by KBS, has on children's art education, to identify the problems this education has, and to suggest the ways to enhance the program. Due to the subject being children who have not entered school yet, their parents have responded to the questions instead. Thus, in order to identify the parents' attitude towards art education of children, the advancement of Korea's art education was needed to be looked at to find the level of art education the parents have indirectly. In order to achive the major objectives of the study, the specific objectives established for this study are as follows : 1. To identify parents' attitude towards the art education for them being the assistants of teachers. 2. To identify opinions on the time and speed of the program which are the formal factors for the children to understand the program, and 3. To identify the effictiveness of the art educational program such as type of arts, type of materials used for each subject instruments used, and teaching method which appeared in the contents of the art education program which has a direct effect on creativity of children. For this study, the questionnaire was developed and refined through a pilot survey. The refined questionnaire was sent to missionary places, infant homes, kindergarden, private tutoring institutes, and private art institutes. Among the questionnaire was sent out, 165 Parents who have watched the TV program were selected as the samples for this study. As a result of the study, the percentage of the parents who showed an interest towards TV art educational program was 76.6% and the percentage of children who watch the program was 92.8% implying this program is adequate for the children who have not entered school to watch. Although the program has succeeded in motivating the children to study, it did not have a great effect on the art education itself. Therfore, in order to enhance the TV educational effect, the parent's guidance is needed. Hence, the art education that parents had been needed to be studied. Most of the parents had degraded improper technique and imitation orient ededuction, disregarding the tradition, and recklessly heading towards the westernized art education.
