미국 BSCS 생물 특히 청판(제5판)에 대한 분석적 연구

Abstract

우리 현실에 바람직한 생물교육 과정이 마련되기 위한 한 방법으로 미국의 BSCS청판 제5판을 중심으로 BSCS녹판 최신판 (제5판)및 BSCS황판 최신판 (제4판)과 비교검토하고 BSCS청판 제 5판과 구판 (1,2,3,4판)및 국내고둥학교 생물교과서와 상호비교한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 청판 제5판의 주제는 유전적 연속성, 진화, 구조와 기능, 수준은 개체 및 조직·기관, 분자의 순서로 강조되어 있어서 분자생물학 분야의 강조가 뚜렷하다. 2. 녹판 최신판 (제5판)의 주제는 생물과 환경, 수준은 생물권 및 개체가 강조되어 있어서 생태적인 면의 강조가 뚜렷하고 황판 최신판(제4판)의 주제는 구조와 기능, 유전적 연속성, 수준은 개체 및 조직·기관의 강조가 뚜렷하다. 3. 청판 제 5판과 구판 (1,2,3,4판)을 비교하여 보면 청판 제 3판에서는 초·재판보다 주제에서 구조와 기능이 보강되고 제 4판과 제 5판은 유전적 연속성의 강조가 두드러 진다. 수준면에서는 제 3판에서 군집이 보강되었으며 제 4판과 제 5판에서는 개체 및 조직·기관의 강조가 뚜렷하다. 4. 국내생물교과서의 주제는 유전적 연속성, 수준을 개체를 강조하고 있고 분자 수준을 강화 하였으며, 유전적인 면의 강조가 뚜렷하다. 5. BSCS청판과 국내교과서를 비교하여 보면 모두 다같이 주제는 유전적 연속성을 강조하고 수준은 분자, 개체를 강조하여 현대 생물학의 경향인 유전과 분자생물학의 강조가 뚜렷하다.;In order to get an appropriate biology curriculum for Korean high school biology education, the recent editions of the American BSCS biology textbooks (Yellow, Blue, Green versions) and of the Korean high school biology textbooks (ten Biology Ⅰ and Ⅱ) were analyzed and compared each other. And also, an analytical study on the 5th edition of Blue version of the BSCS textbooks was done and the comparisons of the 5th edition with lst, 2nd, 3rd and 4th editions were carried out. Finally, the comparison of Blue version with Korean high school biology textbooks was undertaken. The following results are obtained: 1. In the 5th edition of Blue version, the themes are stressed on mainly 'genetic continuity', 'evolution' and *structure and function' and the levels, 'individual', ' tissue and organ' and 'molecules', especially stressing molecular biological aspect. 2. The theme of the recent(5th) editions of the Green version covers mainly 'organism and environment, and levels, 'bio-sphere' and 'individual', especially stressing ecological aspect. And also, the theme of the recent(4th) editions of the Yellow version covers mainly 'structure and &unction' and 'genetic continuity' and the levels, 'individual' and ' tissue and organ' 3. Comparing the latest (5th) to the old ( lst, 2nd, 3rd and 4th) edition, in the 3rd edition 'structure and function' is reinforced in the themes and in the 4th and 5th edition especially emphasize 'genetic continuity' in the level. And also, in the 3rd edition, community is reinforced in the levels and in the 4th and 5th edition especially emphasize 'individual' and 'tissue and organ' 4. The Korean high school biology textbooks concentrate on 'genetic continuity' in the themes and 'individual' in the levels and the considerable stress is paid on the molecular level in the new editions, especially stressing genetic aspect. 5. Comparing the Blue version to the Korean high school biology textbooks, the both emphasize 'genetic cotinuity' in the theme and 'molecular' and 'individual' in the levels, especially stressing genetic and molecular biology aspect.
