幼兒의 놀이活動에 關聯된 衣服形態認識에 關한 硏究

Abstract

本 硏究의 目的은 幼兒의 性役割 發達過程에서 性役割 態度 獲得에 影響을 미치는 要因으로서 衣服의 役割을 糾明하고자 하였다. 傳統的인 性類型으로 看做되어온 놀이活動에 따라 幼兒의 衣服形態는어떻게 聯關되는지를 알아봄으로써 놀이와 衣服과의 關係를 再照明하여 衣服의 役割과 그 重要性을 認識하고자 하는데 目的을 두고 있다. 이에 따라 設定된 硏究問題는 다음과 같다. 1. 幼兒의 놀이活動에 對한 衣服形態의 聯關性은 性別에 따라 差異가 있는가? 2. 幼兒의 놀이活動에 對한 衣服形態의 聯關性은 年齡에 따라 差異가 있는가? 3. 놀이活動에 對한 衣服形態의 聯關性은 幼兒와 어머니의 認識에 差異가 있는가? 硏究方法은 서울에 있는 幼稚園 兒童 59名과 어머니 133名(對象兒童의 어머니 59名 包含)을 對象으로 面接法 및 質問紙法을 實施하였다. 各 兒童當 所要時間은 7분∼8분가량 걸렸으며 經濟的 狀況으로 因한 地域的 特性을 考慮하여 4곳의 幼稚園 現場에서 이루어졌다. 蒐集된 資料는 놀이活動을 性類型化別로 範疇化하였고, 衣服選擇 頻度를 百分率로 表示하고 SPSS PC^(+)에 依한 χ^(2)검증을 하였다. 硏究問題에 對한 結果는 다음과 같다. 本 硏究問題를 糾明하기 爲하여 交叉集計表(Crosstabulation)에 依하여 分析된 結果는 大部分의 境遇 留意度가 매우 낮아(0.1 以上) 두 變數가 相互獨立的임을 보여주었다. 따라서 獨立變數를 基準으로 한 頻度 分析 方法을 擇하였다. 1. 幼兒는 男性性 놀이活動에 바지를 關聯지어 生覺하는 傾向이 있으며 女性性 놀이活動에는 치마와 關聯지어 生覺하는 傾向이 있다. 2. 幼兒는 男性性 놀이活動에서 5才의 兒童보다 6才의 兒童이 더 뚜렷하게 바지와 關聯지어 生覺하는 傾向이 있으며, 女性性 놀이活動에서는 女兒의 境遇 5才보다 6才의 兒童이 더 뚜렷하게 치마와 關聯지어 生覺하는 傾向이 있다. 3. 男性性 놀이活動에서 母子間의 一致度는 바지와의 關聯性에서 높게 나타났고, 女性性 놀이活動에서 母子間의 一致度는 치마와의 關聯性에서 높게 나타났으며, 中性性 놀이活動에서 母子間의 一致度는 바지와 치마의 關聯性이 비슷하게 나타났다. 따라서 本 硏究의 結果는 衣服이 性을 區分하는 認識過程의 한 端緖로서 象徵的으로 使用되고 있는 것으로 나타났다.;The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of clothes on the children's acquisition of sex role-playing attitudes in their developmental stages. For this, inquired questions are as follows : 1. Does the child's relation to play with clothes have any difference according to sex distination? 2. Does the child's relation to play with clothes have any-difference according to ages? 3. Does the child's relation to play with clothes have any difference from that of the mother's? Methods of interview and questionnaire were implemented upon the subjects who consisted of 59 kindergarten children and 133 mothers : include 59 mothers of the subject children. Collected data were categorized, classified by the species of sex typification on play-activity. Clothes choice frequency was denoted by percentage. The results from analysis by cross tabulation showed, for the most part, that the major variable was independent, for the degress of significance were very low (about 0.1). Thus, a method of the frequency analysis based on the independent variable was chosen. The results could be summarized as follows : 1. Children show a tendency that they think play activities of masculiar type in association with the trousers and those of feminine type in association with the skirt. 2. Children show a tendency that 6 years old children think in association with trousers more strongly than 5 years old children in the play activities of masculiar type, and in those of feminine type, the girls who are 6 years old think in association with skirt more strongly than 5 years old. 3. As for the coincidence between mothers and children, it appeared in the relationship with the trousers in the play activities of masculiar type, in that with the skirt in those of feminine type, and in that with both the trousers and skirt in those of neutral type. Therefore, it may be seen, conclusively, that the clothes are symbolically used as a cue to the children's cognitive process of sex distinction.
