피혁의 특성을 응용한 복식디자인 연구

Abstract

오늘날 Fashion산업은 사회의 변화에 따른 소비자의 요구에 부응하기 위해서 소재선택의 중요성이 인식되어 지고 표현방법과 기술을 통한 조형적이고 예술적인 표현을 하려는 의식이 강해지고 있다. 이러한 사회의 요구에 따라 피혁은 소재가 갖는 고유한 광택과 감촉등의 자연스러움과 작업방법에서 오는 절개선의 조화, 시접처리 방법, 특수하게 얻어질 수 있는 형태나 재질감등의 조형미로써 인간의 미적욕구를 만족시키는 복식의 심리적 역할을 충분히 하고 있다. 이러한 피혁은 내구성과 보온성등의 착용성 또는 기능성을 개발시키면 현대복식의 중요한 소재로 부각되는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 피혁소재만이 갖는 고유한 특성과 작업방법에서 오는 특성을 중심으로 피혁의상이 가질 수 있는 조형미를 개발시키고, 나아가 피혁의상의 고정된 관념에서 벗어나 언제 어디서나 쉽게 표현되고 접할 수 있는 여러가지 제안을 시도하여 보다 심미적인 피혁의류와 보급및 대중화에 도움이 되고자 함이다. 본 연구의 내용및 방법은 그 이론적 배경으로 원피가 의류의 소재인 피혁이 되기까지의 과정과 피혁의 종류및 특성을 고찰하였다. 피혁의상의 디자인 전개과정으로는 조개무늬에서 자연스런 모티브를 설정하여 조개형태가 갖는 조형적 특성을 분석한 후 이를 여러가지 형태로 피혁소재와 조화(match)시켜 피혁의상이 가질 수 있는 조형미를 표현하였다. 조개형태의 구성효과로 표현한 피혁의상은 각각 다른 소재의 현대복식에 조화시킴으로 심미적인 피혁의상 작품 8가지를 제작하였다. 작품제작을 통해 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구에서는 피혁의 접합선(CUTTING LINE)을 피혁의상의 구성선에 심미적으로 적용시켜 피혁의상의 실루엣을 조형적으로 향상시킬 수 있었다. 둘째, 피혁의상의 작업방법에서 보이는 솔기처리 방법은 매우 독특하여 이를 이용한 구성선 처리는 피혁의상만이 갖는 조형적인 부분으로 개발시킬 수 있었다. 세째, 피혁조각끼리의 접합선의 시접처리는 매우 간결하여 독창적이고 섬세한 디테일이나 장식물을 제작할 수 있었고, 나아가 피혁소재가 갖는 조형미를 개발시킬 수 있었다. 네째, 피혁소재로 만들어진 디테일은 다른 소재와의 조화로 입기쉽고 보다 현대적 감각의 피혁의상을 제작할 수 있다. 다섯째, 조개의 유기적 형태와 선을 피혁소재에 도입함으로써 피혁의 재질효과를 증대시키며 조형적 느낌의 피혁의상을 표현할 수 있었다. 여섯째, 천연소재인 피혁이 현대의 다양한 특수가공처리 방법으로 4계절을 의상소재로 이용될 수 있다는 가능성을 찾을 수 있었다. 위와 같이 소재의 특성을 살린 피혁의상의 조형미가 더욱 개발되어 인간의 미적욕구를 만족시키는 예술적인 의상으로 대중화 되기를 바란다.;In today's fashion business. the choice of material, is very important to meet customer's demand due to the change of structural and economical society, and the consciousness that intends to express formatively and artistically, special expression and method is being emphasized year by year. Thus in modern clothing. creatively formative development for artistic expression. should be realized as practical art for the popular on the basis of close relationship with the public. Accordingly leather, as natural material, satisfies human desire of beauty and plays an important part in psychological role by making formative beauty which can be gotten from its own brilliancy, and naturalness, on the other hand from the contrast of cutting line, and a margin to sew up in making method. Leather clothing can be very important material, if we develop its function such as durability and warmness, etc. Therefore this thesis intends to be helpful for the development of leather fashion shion centering around its netural feature. Characteristics from making. and further for the public destribution of esthetic leather clothing by trying several suggestions that can be expressed or be met everywhere. In this thesis. By studying the process of making leather material from raw skin presented the kinds and features of leather. For it, first. We created matural motif of a shellfish shape. and researched 8 kinds of products in leather clothing. and the result is as follows. First, in this study, by restricting esthetically The adoption of cutting line to leather clothing composition. tried to develop a silhouette in leather clothing. Second, in making method of leather clothing. treating method is very distinctive and the composition line with this is a formative part in leather clothing. Third, we can create distinctive and delicate details by using the cutting line and the margin to sew up between leather pieces. This can develop the formative beauty in leather clothing. Fourth, by introducing the shellfish shape in leather clothin, We promoted the material effect of leather. Finally, we hope that for more popular use, artistic leather clothing can make an important role in satisfying human desire of beauty by studying actively special material, effect and the margin to sew up that comes from making method of it.
