高等學校 科學Ⅰ 中 天文單元의 目標와 成就度와의 關係

Abstract

본 연구에서는 현 교육과정 운영의 일부분의 조사로서 우리나라 현행 고등학교 과학I(하) 교과서(1989)에서 천문단원인 "지구밖의 환경" 단원의 교육목표를 분석하고, 학생들의 목표도달도를 측정함으로써 교육목표와 성취도와의 관계를 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 교과서 종류별로 제시된 천문단원의 교육목표를 분석하여 본 결과 각 교과서는 목표유형별로 강조도가 어느정도 차이를 보이나 전반적으로 지식 영역(61.9%)를 가장 중시하였으며, 이해(20.2%), 응용(10.7%), 그리고 탐구(7.2%)의 순으로 분포함을 보였다. 2. 목표도달도를 측정하여 본 결과, 목표유형별로 지식 영역(57.5%)이 가장 높았으며, 이해(48.0%), 탐구(30.3%), 그리고 응용(18.2%)의 순으로 측정되었다. 3. 목표유형별 목표도달도를 남녀별로 비교한 결과, 모든 목표유형에서 남학생이 여학생보다 높은 성취도를 보였다. 특히, 탐구영역에서는 남학생이 34.3%, 여학생이 24.3%의 차이를 보였으며, 응용영역에서는 남학생이 24.5%, 여학생이 8.7%의 큰 차이를 보였다. 4. 교과서의 교육목표와 목표유형별 목표도달도와의 관계를 X^(2) (chi-square) test하였다. 분석 결과에서 지식영역의 목표는 교과서에서 의도하는 대로 학생들의 성취도에 영향을 미치나, 이해, 탐구, 그리고 응용 영역의 목표에서는 학생들의 성취도에 교과서가 큰 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 5. 연구대상 학교의 목표유형별 전체 평균과 학교간의 목표유형별 평균(n)과 X^(2)를 함수로 하여 계산하여 비교한 결과 비교적 전체 평균치와 비슷한 분포를 보였다.;The purpose of this study is to analyze of the relationship between the educational objectives and the achievement in the Astronomy Unit of current high school science textbook Ⅰ(1989). The main conclusions of this work are as follows : 1. Educational objectives in Astronomy Unit have been composed of Knowledge (61.9%), and Comprehension (20.2%), Application(10.7%), and Process of scientific inquiry (7.2%). 2. According to the two tests on the rate of objective - achievement, the highest rate 56.7% in Knowledge, 46.8% in Comprehension, 29.2% in Process of scientific inquiry, and 18.2% in Application are shown. 3. Differences between boy and girl are also observed on the degree of achievement in the types of objective. The boy have a higher achievement than the girls. There are significant differences between boy(34.4%) and girl(24.3%) in Inquiry, and in particular between boy(24.5%) and girl(8.7%) in Application. 4. By χ^(2) test shows the relation between the educational objectives and students' achievement in the field of Knowledge. 5. The achievement values of individual school over all the five school average are investigated by two point correlation function.
