Abstract
The change of living style along with the industrialization and urbanization phenomenon is making a change of living style of house. Especially, the change of moaning of like this kitchen space that should fill up psychological and social desire together with also the human being's basic physical desire needs the personality and high class of kitchen together with the basic facility standard of space itself. That is to say, many cooking utensil and kitchen furniture should be in standardization and unification in their shape, color and graphic together with their function in one space. The creation of kitchen space that can give a pleasant, reasonable and psychologically stable feeling according to the reduce of user's physical labor, would be really the direction that the design fundamentally pursuit and also it is the purpose of this study. This study proceeded as follow for the purpose of direction of conclusion of "MODULAR SYSTEMS KITCHEN FURNITURE". First, by acquiring the statistic number of Apartments that were built after the year of 198O as the basic condition (Apartments' size - 82.5㎡ - 18l.5㎡) and by extracting 10 statistic data of - letter form and 7 letter form that were most frequently used, and established a NODULE that can be flexibly applied to the different architecture condition in each. Second, settled up a required module, exception module and modified module by replacing into the 10 types extracted by already settled 150mm unit module and statistic data. Third, by arranging and exchanging each the unit shapes of already selected LO kinds types, made it available that it can be applied flexibly to the demand of user and LIEE STYLE of home. And also, according to the result of basic data research and status analysis, 1 can extract the Problems as follow. First, the change of living style along with the recent industrialization and nuclear family and supply of Apartments changed the concept of kitchen as the public place of family, but according to the lack of correct concept about kitchen space the situation that the location of kitchen space and facilities can not follow this, therefore it can not support the fundamental change of moaning. Second, though the concept of SYSTEM KITCHEN is recently prevailing greatly as the problem of Imperfect but the situation Is that the supplying rate is low since it Is yet In the first ported of development and the price is high. And also, though the character of SYSTEM Is Insufficient to be called as the actual SYSTEM KITCHEN that the standardization exchangeable with whole kitchen utensils is not done yet. Third, as for the matter of production form of kitchen utensils, most kitchen utensils except major merchandises such as Refrigirator and Gas range are manufactured by small manufacturer according to the form of individual order, therefore the situation Is that the standardization and total coordination is very difficult to be done not only In their product's quality but also In their design. And also, the development of products of electric home appliances t manufacturers of our country is imitating or making slightly different from that of Japan, U.S.A., and Europe, so they are not fit to our life of eating and also the COORDINATION between each utensils are not considered. These items explained in above became the basic motif of this study, and as the improvement plan for those problems, the conclusion of this study could be summerized as follow. 1. The Kitchen environment should be developed to more pleasant place by arranging the basic unit shapes so as to be corresponded to the life style of nowaday based on the WOBX TRIANGLES settling 2500 × 2600m/m of 7 letter form and 31OOm/m of - letter form among the kitchen space of house. 2. The facility of kitchen furniture should be arranged more efficiently in their shapes, function according to the adoption of the technique of human engineering. That is to say, make the cooking process more smoothly by the unification of related utensils of kitchen such as refregerator and gas range, and the home automation through TV, RhD10, TELEPHOHE, INTERCOM and SCALE will make the kitchen as the core space of living space. 3. For the purpose of unification and standardization of kitchen utensils and kitchen furniture, acquiring of more wide space by BUILT-IN SYSTEM and adoption of COLOR CODE SYSTEM that suggest the function of home appliances, give the convenience and stability of works. 4. Many other kitchen utensils and fixtures etc should be made in TOTAL COORDINATI0N with kitchen furniture in their shapes, size, quality and color by manufacturing giving basic NODULE among each products and also with the kitchen furniture. Through like this work, and by making the character of space more clear In whole and mating simple working environment and orderly space system, the efficiency of kitchen space and psychological stableness should be promoted. As you see the method of solving in above, like this effort for the standardization and unification of kitchen space urgently needs the efforts of not only the user but also Interior designer industrial designer, business man, human engineer and marketing specialist.;오늘날 가정생활은 급격한 과학기술의 발전과 고도의 경제성장 및 여성의 지위향상과 합리적인 생활로의 지향의식 등으로 말미암아 사회적, 경제적, 문화적으로 커다란 변화를 가져와 생활양식 (LIFE STYLE) 및 의식에도 많은 변화를 보이게 되었다. 이러한 생활양식의 변천은 여성의 역할이 달라지고 핵가족화됨에 따라 재래식 주방형태에서 입식형태로 바뀌게 했으며 수납공간 및 작업공간의 내용도 많이 달라졌다. 특히 전통적 문화속에서의 주방의 개념은 조리 장소로서만의 의의를 갖던것이 오늘날에는 도시화 현상에서 비롯된 핵가족화의 생활양식으로 가족의 구성단위가 소규모화 되고 주부의 역할이 다양해짐에 따라 음식을 먹고 즐기는 장소로써 뿐만 아니라 가족과 대화를 나누고 더 나아가서는 세탁 및 집안의 잡다한 일도하는 장소로도 사용하게 되었다.1 즉 조리의 능률화라는 과학적 생활공간으로 그 의의를 갖게 되었다. 또한, 각종 산업의 발달로 물과 불의 사용방법에도 큰 변화가 있었으며, 주방에 관계되는 성능좋은 건축재료와 주방용구의 다양화, 인스턴트 식품의 개발, 전기제품의 발달로 주방공간의 양상이 많이 달라지고 있다. 더불어 생활범위의 확대와 다양화로 능률적이고 쾌적한 공간으로서의 생활환경은 효과적인 공간으로서의 무수히 많은 필요성을(NEEDS) 충족시키기 위한 창조적 제안을 필요로 한다. 핵가족화와 노동력 비용의 상승에 따른 가정부를 비롯한 외부적인 보조 협력 수단등의 감소된 생활변화로 주방은 주부자신의 작업공간으로서 비중이 커져가고 있으며 가족의 식생활과 보건위생, 때로는 휴식까지 담당하게 되어 주부의 하루일과중 가장 많은 시간을 보내는 장소로서 주방공간의 발전과 개선이 크게 요구되고 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 주방의 공간중에서 현실적이면서도 미래적인 새로운 요구와 이념에 맞는 'MODULAR SYSTEMS KITCHEN FURNITURE'의 시안을 위해 주방기구 제품으로 선택하여 집중조사 하였다. 이를 선택한 동기는 현대 가족생활에서 어느 공간보다도 중요한 주방이 다가올 21세기에 있어서도 인간생활에 풍요롭고 편리한 생활을 위한 제품들이 끊임없이 개발, 창조될 것이 예상되며 무엇보다도 그 개발에 있어서 중요한 것은 인간이 사용하는 기구는 인간중심인 기구가 되어야하며 기구에 맞추어 인간의 생활범위가 결정되어서는 안되겠다. 즉 주방에서 주방기구를 사용하는 사람을 위한 인간적인 측면, 건축적인 측면, 제품적인 측면에서의 접근으로 오늘날 주방 현실의 상호간에 아무런 조정없이 제공되고 있는 주방가구와 가전제품들의 요소를 통합된 시스템 (SYSTEM)으로 취급함으로서 서로 상이한 건축 조건에 가변적으로 적용할 수 있는 MODULAR SYSTEMS KITCHEN FURNITURE를 연구하여 제안하고자 한다. 이와같은 연구를 위해 현대 주방의 일정한 설계 기준의 범위와 평균치수에 의한 모듈 (MODULE)을 설정하여 주부의 가사 노동량의 과중을 경감시켜 능률적이고 쾌적한 작업공간을 만들고 의식구조와 생활양식의 변화에 대응하기 위한 방법으로 인간과 기기, 환경사이의 상호 관련성이라는 측면에서 전개하고자 한다.
