종이의상의 작품 연구

Abstract

On the basis of various material is expression, The modern costume emphaized the plasticity throught harmony with material by the medium of human body, taking a step forward from function aspect which means to wear simpy. Therefore, the unearthing of pecutiar material has an effect upon the modern costume designer by diffusing to various material such as paper, metal, vingl and plastic getting out defined fibre material as laxtilas. In this thesis, we choose the paper as a material of expression which is a vailble to de cubic work and to pursue the free plastic beauty and to express the various colour sliade temper & technique. The purpose of this thesis on enlarging the possibility of paper coustume design by maximizing the plastic harmony between costume & human body, by for the lyricla image and visual factr. As the contents & method of this thesis was on theoretic foundation, we looked in the expression study through the history of paper costume and paper working. And also studied the aesthetic factors for plastic expression of flower. After analyzing the characteristic by collecting related reference units, we produced the papers costume formalized re flower image cubically. We produced two kinds of works the own is two pieces of real paper costume and the other one is six pieces of paper costume expressed by relief illustration. The conclusions of this thesis are as follow : 1. The image of flower was sublimated to artistical lebel which emphasize the beauty of body by harmonyzing wit evening dress schlutte. 2. The paper is proper material of Paper Costume works. Because individual expression of designer and free cubic expression are availablek. 3. In order to unversalize the paper costume it needs the study for development of paper quality, i.e., costerprsofing, treatment after dyeing and elasticiting. In furture, we do hope that the paper costume will ge a opportunity which presents the possibility for opening a new chapter of modern costume design.;현대의상은 다양한 재료와 표현기법을 토대로 의상을 단순히 입는다는 기능적인 면에서 한 걸음 더 나아가 인체를 예술의 표현 매체로 하여 소재와의 조화를 통해 조형성을 강조한다. 그러므로 독특한 재료의 발굴은 직물이라는 한정된 섬유재료에서 벗어나 종이, 비닐, 플라스틱 등 다양한 소재로 확산되어 현대 의상디자이너에게 많은 영향을 끼쳤다. 본 논문에서는 입체작업이 가능하고 자유스러운 조형미를 추구할 수 있으며 색감, 질감, 기법 등의 다양한 표현이 가능한 종이를 표현 재료로 선택하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 종이의상을 통하여 꽃의 서정적 이미지와 시각적 요소를 입체적으로 형상화함으로서 의상과 인체와의 조형적인 조화를 극대화하여 종이 의상디자인의 가능성을 넓히는데 있다. 본 연구의 내용 및 방법을 이론적 배경으로서 종이의상의 역사와 종이작업을 통한 표현연구를 문헌을 통해 살펴 보았고 꽃의 조형적 표현을 위한 미적요인을 연구하였으며 이와 관련된 참고작품을 표집하여 그 조형적 특성을 분석한 후 그것을 토대로 꽃의 이미지를 입체적으로 형상화한 종이의상을 제작하였다. 작품은 종이의상 실물 2점과 부조 일러스트레이션으로 표현한 종이의상디자인 6점을 제작하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 꽃의 이미지는 입체적으로 조형화되는 과정을 통해 이브닝 드레스 실루엣과 조화를 이루어 인체의 곡선미를 강조하는 예술적 차원으로 승화되었다. 둘째, 종이는 작가의 개성적 표현과 자유스러운 입체 표현이 가능하여 복식조형에 적합한 재료이다. 세째, 종이의상이 보편화되기 위해서는 방수가공, 염색 후 처리, 신축성가공 등의 종이 재질개발의 연구가 필요하다. 이상의 결과로 앞으로 종이의상이 현대 의상디자인의 새로운 장을 열게 될 가능성을 제시하는 계기가 되었으면 한다.
