殷栗탈춤 춤사위의 分析에 관한 연구

Abstract

殷栗탈춤은 文化財로 指定된 것이 불과 몇년 전이기 때문에 봉산탈춤이나 강령탈춤보다 모든면에서의 硏究가 미흡하였다. 특히 춤에 대해서는 硏究가 되어지지 않고 있는 형편이다. 그래서 本 論文은 殷栗탈춤중 춤이 가장 우세한 第三科場인 목중춤을 中心으로 形態學的인 面에서 構造 分析을 試圖한 것이다. 탈춤은 臺詞, 演劇, 音樂, 舞踊등으로 이루어진 綜合藝術이므로 舞踊만을 독립해서 硏究하기란 힘든 점이 있고 또한 춤이 항시 가변성이 있는 것이기 때문에 여러가지 난점이 있었다. 그러나 비교적 춤만으로 구성된 목중춤을 대상으로 춤사위의 構造 分析과 內容을 考察해 보려 한다. 이에 대한 考察은 첫째, 殷栗탈춤의 起源과 由來, 社會的 背景, 構成등을 歷史的으로 살피고 둘째, 목중춤의 內容, 進行節次, 탈, 衣裳등을 形式을 구체적으로 살피고 주된 동작을 설명했으며 세째, 이것을 토대로 목중충을 각 形態學的인 面에서 構造 分析하고 전체적인 춤사위에 대한 分析 內容을 硏究하므로서 表現上 나타내고 있는 동작과 내용을 밝혀 내려는데 있다. 이러한 目的과 方法을 통해 考察한 것을 綜合的으로 요약하면 다음과 같다. 殷栗탈춤의 춤만으로 구성된 제3과장을 중심으로 구조를 형태학적인 면에서 분석하여 공통적으로 얻을 수 있는 내용과 춤사위를 고찰한 것이다. 종교적 祭儀와 民衆의 오락적 놀이가 복합된 형태로 出發하여 민중예술로서 점차 確大되며 변모 발전하였다. 民衆들의 思想 感情, 情諸등 生活感情이나 現實을 身體的 動作을 통해 뿌림동작과 跳躍으로 表現化 形象化시켰고 춤이 차지하고 있는 비중은 이러한 춤사위가 민중들과 직접적으로 접촉하며 민중들 저변에 깔려 있는 意識을 確大, 發散시켰다는 점이 매우 큰 의의라 하겠다. 여기서 여러가지 구조 분석 결과 나타난 뿌림동작과 跳躍은 人間의 감정을 무한대로 발산하고 지속하고자 하는 感情 發散型의 外的動作이며 動作 自體가 身體部位를 움직여 事實的이고 自然的으로 表現하고 있는 人間美的인 춤이다. 마지막으로 다각적인 면에서 이러한 연구가 시도되어 전통민속무용 계승 발전에 도움이 되어져야 하며 우리무용의 고운춤에서 약간 벗어나 활달, 경쾌한 춤사위를 바탕으로 새로운 技巧아래 표현법의 소재가 발견되었으면 하는 바램이다.;There have been less studies of Eunyul Masked Dance than those of Pongsan Masked Dance or Kangryung Masked Dance, as it was just only a few years ago that it was designated as a cultural asset. Especially study of dance part has not been made yet. So this thesis attempted to analyse the structure in the morphological aspect on the basis of Mokjoong Dance, the third part, in which dance is the most superior. As Masked Dance is a synthetic art which is composed of words, play, music, and dance and dance is always variable, it is difficult to study only dance independently. However by studying Mokjoong Dance relatively composed of only Dance, I would analyse the structure and study the contents. This study has been made in three aspects like follows. First, I have researched historically the origin and source, social background, and composition. Second, I have investigated contents, progress procedure, mask, and clothes of Mokjoong Dance and explairled major actions of it. Third, on the basis of this, by analysing the sturucture in the morphological aspect and studying analysis contents of the whole dance part, I hate explained actions and contents appearing outwords. To summarize this study with such purpose using such method is like follows. I have studied contents and dances which can be found out commonly by analyzing the structure in the morphological aspect on the basis of the third part composed of just only dance of Eunyul Masked Dance. It originated in complex form of religious service ceremony and popular amusement play, and has developed gradually as a popular art. This dance is significant as it has developed and magnified popular deep-rooted consciousness by contacting directly with the masses, and giving shape to and expressing reality and life feelings such aa thought, feeling, and emotion of the masses through concrete actions, strewing and jumping actions. According to the result of various structure analyses, strewing and jumping actions are outward actions to express and keep human feeling infinitely and this is a dance of human beauty to express human feeling practically and naturally by moving each part of the body. Finally I hope that much more studies which are helpful to succession and development of traditional dance should be made from now on, and that materials of expression methods with new technics would be found out on the basis of dynamic and light dance which is a little different from our traditional dance composed of soft actions.
